Maybe after a 6 month that I will never receive any altcoin in ICO maybe I agree with and I also saying that you are right that almost 90% of ICO are scam. But this time even I actually finished my first bounty campaign that I was joined and still waiting for the my altcoins maybe I should still wait. Because I believe that anyone expecting about scam is not quite true. I'm stiil hoping that after a months of waiting I will receive my rewards.
Concerning the bounty I believe the OP was somehow right cause some bounty are uses to scam people. However, I checked the bounty you signed up and you're suppose to receive your signature bounty stakes every week while you get the others at the end of the campaign. You can PM the campaign about the stakes though.

Where I don't believe in regulations on cryptocurrencies, I strongly support regulations on ICO conduction. While investing in already established cryptocurrency, an investor has many parameters to analyse before investing. But while investing in an ICO where projects and companies can be easily faked and there are no parameters available to analyse, it becomes difficult for an investor to make a right choice.
Right now, due to unavailability of any kind of regulation, many of the ICO coming are fake and scam. But I doubt if the number is 90%. It seems like most are a scam because many fail to raise anything and thus, calling their ICO off. But that doesn't mean that they are a scam.

I agree that the numbers seems to be inflated, it is impossible that 90% of all the icos are scams, what happens is that there are many unprofessional projects out there which come from people that do not really have an idea about how to conduct an ico or a business and so it eventually fails and this may give the impression to some that the number of scams is higher than it really is.

Mostly are scams well if we will include it all aspects failure to not reaching their cap, problem with network, team, etc. that may affect the ICO reputation as a result a start of strong downfall but it is only small percentage of a failure to comply with what they are doing. Scam ico are more intentionally if you will invest you have to check it by your own and get additional opinions from ico reviews sites for free.

Many projects die not immediately, but for several months after the launch of the project. I'm a little bit upset because I see how good ideas die.
Nowadays ICO is created for the purpose of misappropriating other people's property, so do not be sad about this. Please focus on improving your knowledge for potential ICO project analysis. You will avoid unnecessary risks.

It's hard to tell how sustainable a project will be if it's all about potential. I think what most projects have is weak long term and long range prospect. They only see short term benefits, it's surprisingly malicious to see some projects have their roadmap end after few months of ICO crowdfunding.

I am not very much sure about the percentage. It might be wrong but the message that it is giving to all of us is absolutely correct. The number of scams has increased recently and it is far greater than the last year. Untill we get some serious regulation in crypto area ico scams will keep happening

Vitalik has never said that, i do not understand why there are a lot of threads saying that all the icos are scam nowadays, the only ones which are scam are those who do not have team, a proper whitepaper, and a lot of other stuff.

I also think that at the moment it's better to buy the necessary tokens already on the  exchange or buy altcoins that are already traded on the exchange.
so you have a better chance of not losing your money.

In terms of laws, 90% of them just can't be scam. If you call failed projects as scam, then it might be true for several projects as you know. Expecting fast profits from ICOs is not fair.

Some people are angry just because their expectations didn't turn real.

The founder of ETHEREUM said that over 90% of ICOs are scams. By participating in an ICO, you give your money to a project that probably will never happen. Every day a new ICO comes out ... but what surprises me is that many people invest their savings in these very high risk projects. I think it is much better to invest in real projects already listed on the stock exchange .... of which you know everything well ... For example, BANKERA looks like an ICO scam .....

Yes l dint know why there are lits of scammer now. They dont give the payments of people. They dont even think the effort and the expectations of the poor people expecting on their small amount if payments on their bounty. But l know and beleive that whatever you sew you reap.Theres another day for us to bless by God .So we have to continue beleiving that we can have the best blessing in the end.

OP mean that people invest in an ICO which 90% of ICO is a scam. We are millions here in the forum and not all of us here are educated enough about investing in cryptocurrency. That is why we always see people getting scam because investors lack the knowledge on how to invest or it might be the other way around, scammers are on the level up. We will be having a hard time distinguishing scam ICOs from legit ones.

In addition to that, it's really hard to tell if an ICO is just a pure scam or not because there are actually group of people or are just so good of doing at it. I've been into an ICO where i think it looks pretty legit with a good team members, concept of the project and even having a 60K community participation in their channel only to find out that the ICO is a scam. It's really a waste of time and effort!

The main reason every one declares Ico are scam is because they expect fast results but where ico need time for new development and they need time for implementation of roadmap

No! more than 99% are scams. Never invest into a project without a working product . All those scams are big on fancy ideas and nothing else.

I am neutral on this statement, although you have some points to re consider, but nowadays alot are coming out and then gone scam, ive always read on the ICO side, that everyday there is a scam and a new ICO comes out. But, we could not specify which is a scam project, but a lot of non hardcap raised ICO are good performing in the end. Its hard to verify if its a scam or not, but i do not believe that 90% are scams. Im so sorry to disagree but lots of my tokens are in the exchanges and it came from my bounty work.

Have a great day

Every day there are many projects in which people invest their savings.
And only about 1 in 10 will be successful.
And how to determine it at the stage of the ICO?
No way.
Here all bets are made on your luck and fortune.

I think Vitalik is right. But it is very difficult to understand where these 10% of real, good projects.

There's a lot of process where whale investors finally get to the point just by looking at the project they will easily distinguish if the project is legit and good for long term, However, the easiest way to check and tfrust ICO is those who have campaigns (only for new in ICO) and handled by great managers, Like, yahoo62278, I am not saying that all but 8 out of 10 is a good ICO to the campaign He handled. Check and read is the basic step of all.

Vitalik does stand for it because almost all ICO, requires ethereum and ethereum is upon the name of vitalik.

I don't think the rate of scam ICO project high like you think. I think only 1 or 2 out of 10 ICO projects are scam so it's only about 10 - 20% of ICO project are scam and the left is both good and not good project. Sometime you guy don't understand between bad and scam project Smiley). A bad project that mean you still receive token but the token price after listed on exchange even lower than ICO project but with a scam project you'll get nothing Smiley
