stopping doing something is not easy.
For me, to stop smoking is stop thinking to stop smoking, means that we do not to think and say to stop smoking.  Leave it and reduce smoking day by day, and naturally it will be end.

First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?




Well, I stopped because of one realization that I only have one life and I would want to spend it longer with my family. I had an ashtma because of smoking before and my immune system got weaker, so I decided to stop. Through self discipline and perseverance, I was able to do it because my family also supports me with it. I am now living a healthy lifestyle.

just stop buying cigarettes, I've never been an addict because I prefer to waste my money in BTC than in a cigarette. Think about this every time you buy one and you'll get it

stopping smoking is difficult, especially after many years of smoking...... i know many that succed, most of them have a strong will, but that was not all, some of them tried a hypnosis technique to get rid of smoking after so many years, so for me it seems to be a possible way to get out of smoking......and to get one step closer to a healthier lifestyle..... and for saving a lot of money

I wasn't able to stop smoking. It is true that it's really difficult to break a bad habit. However, if you really are determined and disciplined, you can actually stop. Try stopping it slowly, so that you will not crave for it. Because the more you try to stop it suddenly, the more you want to get back on smoking. Diversion is one of the best way to stop it.

Give your mouth something to do to fight a tobacco craving. Chew on sugarless gum or hard candy, or munch on raw carrots, celery, nuts or sunflower seeds — something crunchy and satisfying.

Do not look for substitutes. First, answer yourself to the question: "Why should I quit smoking?" The first answer will be the main motivation. By stimulation, choose a sport: jogging, very good at quitting smoking.
   Quitting smoking, drop it!

I also experienced the same thing.It is very difficult to stop smoking, Though already a variety of ways I do,Still no results. For now I try to do herbal treatment, No results, but at least there is a strong desire from me

Smokers often start smoking because friends and family do. But they keep smoking because  they get addicted to nicotine, one of the chemicals in cigarettes and tobacco. To help you quit smoking, you will need to change your behavior and tell your family and friends that you are planning to quit

Quit smoking is not easy only yourself can help to qut smoking just tip you buy a cigarret you put it your pocket from time to time you snip or keep your self besy or look for any candy for your mouth besy .

We all know the tag line...Smoking is dangerous to our health but we keep on smoking despite of the warning, we ignore the sign as if we're going on the wrong path with dead end on it..and we regrets because we do not heed those sign and its too late because we're now rotten and our decaying body is beyond cure, we lose the chance to live longer and be with our love ones and family...just think on the end result of what you've done...to quit at the early stage can be preventive..do all necessary thing to get rid of it if you want to live and love your life

It is all about discipline. Discipline will change the entire you to be able to stop smoking. Self control is rely to self discipline. No discipline, no self control equals to no change.

If the family members and friends themselves are smokers, how is that going to help? Also, even if they want to help, there are limitations. The main effort should come from you. Others can motivate you at the most, but don't expect them to play a major role in the de-addiction.

Very difficult to stop smoking immediately, because it requires a difficult process, and of course with patience. All you can do is reduce smoking by eating candy. this really helps you not to smoke, so when you are addicted to smoking, then you have to consume candy. and it's effective for smoking quit smoking .

Why do you even buy it at the first place? To me, the only way to stop smoking is to stop buying it in the first place. Make it known to your friends that you have stopped and try going to them to have a conversation when the wish to smoke comes into your mind.

If you can't stop Just tell yourself  And that's causes you have got no balls. That happened for me. And I stayed some weeks with lighter and cigarettes in the bags without touching them.

its really a matter of if you want to really stop. ive seen people stop smoking fully by determination . even when it is affecting they they just face it

very difficult because I am a heavy smoker now I am again trying to switch to vape and I have started to control my desire to smoke
