First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?


Sorry for my English. I have smoked for 20 years, smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day. Talking about quitting smoking is almost as likely as those who are already addicted to drugs. However, smoking will stop if the smoker stops with the intention of what he wants to live. Without intentions other solutions may not work.

Smoking is a really bad habbit that once you've started, it'll be too hard for you to stop it. But then I believe that nothing is impossible. For you to stop from smoking, you should think of other ways to spend your extra time lik eating or riding a bike instead. Just let yourself feel so busy that you don't have time for smoking anymore. Another way is that you can read articles about the effects of smoking to human health. In that way, you'll surely feel a little bit scared of what might happen to you when you continue smoking.

I am not smoking, but all smokers say they can't stop it in just few time. They prefer to stop it by eating candies as substitute. I don't think it will work.

I can't imagine smoking 2 packs of cigarettes a day( when I was still smoking ). That's just too much and I would feel dizzy if I smoke more than one stick in on hour.

It's not easy I'm telling you. You'll have a hard time quitting if that's your only motivation.

Honestly, I stop smoking because of my job, you can't smoke on air conditioned room and besides it's not allowed right? I think when you are going to quit, there should be another party to stop you from doing it, such as policies and local rules.

It will work, only that you'll be eating too much sugar everyday.

 I think quitting smoking is one of the most strongest addiction. Because it has to do with serious determination.  For those that take 6 to 12  sticks everyday you can't stop him in a day.  It will takes gradual process and determination  to stop smoking

with my father's experience.
he did it so he could stop smoking.
you should remove it gradually.
for example in a day you get ten cigarettes,

And the second person who doesn´t care about himself.
Your mind is stronger than everything else so if you really want to quit then quit.

I am proud that I have stopped smoking few months ago. What I have done is to replace smoking using VAPE. I used vape for couple of months then I gradually decrease vaping. After a month, I only vape every other day. Then I stopped it when I felt that I don't need it anymore. It is advisable to stop smoking gradually. Don't stop it right away, you will suffer when nicotine discharges out of your body. Make sure that you make yourself busy when you are trying to stop smoking. Doing nothing will make you think that you should smoke. Remove the thought of smoking in your mind.
