BUT if they apply the rate of the day you paid (today in your case), it's your choice.
You decided to pay today. That's how a very volatile market like crypto works.
i think this will be the case.
the day and time they receive your pay.

by the way, i'm 99% sure the process is manual.
and if there are really +200 thousand of offers... sit and relax waiting for your turn.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Good point. It's sure there will be human verification for all transactions.

This sure makes sense, given that more than 52% of the "certified" offers where in USD and that euro and ruble transfers use SWIFT too.

USD owners will have to sell their shit currency and buy BTC or ETH (very cheap today!) to buy PTR Wink

For Euros they can use SEPA. For Rubles of course it's SWIFT (not for long though, Russians will replace it), but there's no risk to pass through US banks.

SEPA works only inside Europa. Whether and when Russia will replace SWIFT remains to be seen.

lol Are you saying that people sell their dollars to buy btc, that's fine with me, but buy Petros? if everyone here knows that it has no future, and I do not say it, you just have to read the whitepaper, to see that it has no future, it is not in big Exchanges, because the government's policies are not the dollar, and the Euro is a matter of taking out a prohibition similar to that of the USA so that they do not trade with Euros, then? if they do that, the big investors operate with dollars and euros, with that, buy btc, not rest, that's what they do not understand. And they want to adopt NEM technology that can easily track and hack it, I think they should replace all the developers and look for people who have experience in blockchain, so that they do not pass penalties, and I suggest, as it is an easy country to make prohibitions, work with anonymity technology, so that they learn to circumvent such prohibitions.

Where did you see that the petro would be delivered at the end of ICO,

Don't know where taseenb saw it, I saw it here: http://explorer.nemchina.com/#/s_tx?hash=14fd14e9a3e7c5d474cec561ee2529ce4fb253b2200e85fb1c1e1e269e98db28

and its possible like other ICO to deliver coins at the price I decided to buy it but petro decided not to do so, they are not transparent

I agree with you that with a transparent ICO you would either know the price or at least the exact procedure to determine it.

A confused delirium. No exchanges: false. The rest is pathetic. Get a grip (or make an effort to get some information).

I cannot confirm it. I just said that as an hypothesis. Probably they'll send the Petros earlier.

Russian bank transfer system is already operational and used by some Russian banks. Its adoption outside Russia will obviously take time and will probably only focus on certain markets (oil and gas are certainly among them). SWIFT will likely be killed by crypto/blockchain technology anyway.

I paid today to receive a discount, I know all the Maduro friends and collabos worldwide bought Petro between the 22 and last night, actually you can see in "help" the exemple they using to explain how to proceed, so I probably wont have a discount even though I was early in the process.
The process is not manual and you know why, because I created nultiple account with documents of identification from Google and they gave me a number and a personal page, try it yourself you will see....

we don't know if those links are the real Petro.
don't take them seriously.

The process is not manual and you know why, because I created nultiple account with documents of identification from Google and they gave me a number and a personal page....
the venezuelan government is not an exchange like Coinbase where you can buy cryptocurrencies with your visa/master credit card in less than 10 seconds.
the process behind the web site elpetro.gob.ve is not 100% automated.

It does not mean that the process is not manual. Surely it is. It means you are a fraudster. Smiley Not all people are as you might think, so expect many (maybe you as well) will get their discounts. I don't know how pre-sale discounts are managed though. True this is a lack of clarity in the sale process.

the lack of transparency and lack of professionalism worries me, Do you know that for the Euro Bank wires they didn't even put an IBAN bank account which makes it impossible for anyone with Euros to pay for Petro, can you imagine😒🤔

I agree that the website has shown a serious lack of professionalism. It's quite sad to see trivial things go wrong: they are paying a very high price for this mistakes. That said, this is probably one of the most ambitious and yet one of the fastest ICO created. It has been done in record times, so I knew (and wrote) at the beginning that there would have been problems here and there. I suppose they'll fix the IBAN soon.

Very disappointed: the data for the Euro bank transfer is wrong as cryproviagra said! This really is an annoying amateur mistake: that website is managed really by a company lacking experience or seriously understaffed. Hope they will improve the website soon.

How people in Europe willing to invest are supposed to do if they cannot even pay? From what I understand they have a Russian account and a German intermediary. But people with euro can generally only transfer to a IBAN bank account.

This should be responsibility of Abrahan Landaeta Parra, Treasurer of cryptoassets of Venezuela! @AbrahanDLP

That's a dose of Patria Socialista for you. Move to Venezuela if you want more! Grin

For me it's not a problem Smiley i don't even have euros.

This is just a stupid bank account code in a web page. 5 minutes to fix. If these were the only problems in Venezuela, the entire world would immediately migrate there. But yeah, if the process gets too complicated, interested people risk to give up.

Anyway ICO investors are attracted by profits and used to complex procedures, so they are resilient... but it isn't nice to see errors like this.

IBAN is not used in Russia.
There are many IBAN generators found in the web.
Anyway, I'm sure that if I go to my bank and say that I want to transfer Euros using the information on the Petro web page, my bank will put the missing information, if any.

OMG you are a clown. Why would you buy in the first place? Nobody would buy while complaining like you. So you're probably even a liar.
Apart from that, I don't see what you would be "exposing".

Maybe. But most Europeans can easily make bank transfers online if they have correct details with an IBAN. That's ridiculous.

This is an ICO: offering simple ways to pay is the most important thing they must do.
