So is Venezuela fully supporting bitcoin? Damn, I gotta love this. Venezuelan government should be the first country creating their own crypto currency. Interesting that they are using NEM blockchain.

I can confirm that i did several transactions and the ICO system to buy petros works smoothly and looks very transparent. A list of the transactions is available with all the details in my personal page (with a link to the transaction in the blockchain). As a reminder, it is only possible to buy Petros with crypto (BTC, ETH, XEM) or Rubles! I'm a little concerned because I did a transaction to buy petros but it was never confirmed. It is supposed to turned green but it never did and it's been almost two weeks (I can only see the transaction in the blockchain when I click on the link). Is this happening to anyone else? Refresh the page multiple times it will turn green..😉

Interesting that they are using NEM blockchain. the venezuelan government never banned cryptocurrencies or said something about it. they didn't care until the economic blockade imposed by the U.S. imperialism against the venezuelan people. the foreign exchange control in Venezuela is not for cryptocurrencies. a venezuelan has always been able to buy cryptocurrencies from the beginning. before venezuelan exchangers exists, a venezuelan could have cryptocurrencies: - buying in an international exchanger if he/she has dollars/euros. - buying to a venezuelan miner with dollars/euros or Bolivars (venezuelan currency). - mining. now, with venezuelan exchangers, a venezuelan can buy with Bolivars directly. there is a minimum though. so... ¿fully supporting bitcoin? the venezuelan government just legalized formally cryptocurrencies in general. before that it wasn't illegal or legal.

What did you paid with? My transactions in Ethereum were all confirmed almost immediately. Can you see the transactions you did in your personal page?

Yes I see the transaction in my personal page and it just turned green after refreshing the page. next time, clear your web browser's cache, cookies, and history. that's one of the reason why i use the option "private browsing". every time i open the web browser, i know i'm not reading/loading from the web browser's cache and everything is new/fresh and updated.

This might sound a bad news about Venezuela (and the headline is obviously biased and negative as this is US Bloomberg stuff of course). If such a record happened in any other country it'd be an interesting or positive news for most people. Anyway this is certainly a good one for the Petro and the future of the first crypto-country in the world: Bitcoin Market Hits Record $1 Million Per Day in Venezuelahttps://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-04-18/bolivar-to-bitcoin-market-hits-record-1-million-per-day?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_source=twitter&utm_content=cryptoVenezuelans can't get dollars? They get crypto. When people will get that the government is seeing way further than most ignorants and biased observers think, they'll start to get interested in PTR and Venezuela... it'll take time but the trend is clear and there is no way back. US dominance faith is decided, the dollar will lose importance in the coming year, and for this reason they are more and more violent and desperate. Countries like Venezuela can be starved and sabotaged for years or decades but won't fall. i'm not sure to have understood well.. that link means that everyday, more or less, the venezuelan exchanges 1 million dollars in btc/bolivar?? Well, that's really impressive!!

The white paper says that the ICO will end when they finish the coins. But the government recently said that April 20th (today) is considered the launch of Petro as a legal currency in Venezuela. So I suppose the coins will be distributed soon.

That link doesn't work. Nazi Google removed the Petro wallet, of course.

I invested from the very beginning I am not trying to wait until all the coins are gone that's actually why I invested early, they clearly messed up the whole plan, they just doing whatever they want how they want it, shows alot about who we are dealing with...I was supporting the government at first but the way they handled that is pure amateurism...

No, that's bullshit. It was very clear in the White Paper. They actually announced they'll distribute coins earlier, not later. So you complain for nothing.

Stop being ridiculous by defending them, one say 15 days you saying when the coins are exhausted, you're just a pro MADURO no matter what, didn't maduro said that we could start buy real estate starting from yesterday??? Nobody from the Petro team is communicating with the investors, we don't have fresh news....I paid 27 days ago and they officially took part of my payments in nem the 10 April but no news , nothing...

Dude you are always getting mad when I talk about your beloved government, you are the one who is pathetic you can never recognize when the Maduro government is wrong, they never respected the whitepaper so just stop it, I know you read me all the time and you see that I am most of the time well informed let me add I am even better informed than you are , I invested in Petro because I believed the government was serious about the Petro, I can confirm that they are not it's just a trial to them...Instead of insulting people come with facts and if you have valuable infos defending my accusations expose them, you are such a kiss ass when it comes to Venezuela government...
