Venezuela economy is pretty dead for now, they just postponed the new Bolivar notes for another minimum 60 days maximum 90 days....crypto is obviously not a priority anymore...
Honestly I think it was dead before too. But Maduro had his bravado and enthusiasm. And now he doesn't even talk about his cool progressive initiatives. Feels like he's given up on trying to make improvements and focused on maintaining power

I think every president wants the best for his people. The problem is your ability to do it

I think Maduro cares more about maintaining his power, so, as I’ve already assumed earlier, El Petro might be just a tool to get votes. Look, after elections he barely said a word about it

He actually does a lot for his country and its people. It's just that he can't do his best because of sanctions

Don’t use sanctions as an excuse he failed his country and his people with amateur approach to El Petro and then won a run for presidency by using rude force and dirty tricks.

Maduro put up a flag as political propaganda - that is the Petro. [...] I don't see any future for this project. [...] We worked for three weeks and we didn't get one bolivar from the Venezuelan government. They did'nt pay us anything, not even one peso.

[UPDATE] Petro ICO sale removed from the website

Interestingly enough, the official website has removed the link to the Petro sale. It could mean that they are preparing a new phase of the project, which could be the availability of Petro in exchanges and trading platforms! Stay tuned...

The amount of bullshit from people who know nothing and have literally nothing to say here is quite unbelievable.

This is a war, Petro is in the game. From difficulties people learn and become stronger. Don't be naive and learn something: no one in the chavista front will ever give up, they've been through everything... coups, endless lies, insults, mafias to any kind of physical, economical and psychological aggression you can imagine. Petro and the people around it are tougher than you can dream, i'm afraid.

For 20 years we've read and seen this insults on the mainstream media, social media and from the people parroting the media, billions have been spent to destroy Venezuela and Chavez... but the violence from the US and the wealthy opposition has been beaten over and over again, peacefully, while the popular support of chavismo has resisted. With the Petro we've seen the same intolerance and arrogance of the colonial brainwashed white men who think they know it all and actually know very little: that makes it even more clear to me that Petro will succeed.
