Other coins tend to move faster for a specific period of time because most coins are largely influenced by the pump and dump groups which are now emerging as the "Signal Groups". Teams pay these signal groups to announce these coins in order to pump them. These coins do not rise for long. It is always followed by a massive dump.

Bitcoin I think slower now because in a few months this price is unstable. When the Bitcoin down all Altcoin also went down but if Bitcoin ride Altcoin very slow for a ride. And this makes confused us for a decision whether to sell the coins or hold it.

I think no other coins move faster than Bitcoin..
I agree with you. I think also that bitcoin is the very good one. It is the best in all crypto currency. And I think it is faster than others.

Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

There are no coins that move faster than Bicoin, even though the Bitcoin price is currently down, but from the price made by bitcoin until now the price has risen many times from the original price, this shows that bitcoin is also very fast moving.

And what is there to think about here? In my opinion, now there is not a single coin with a throughput of seven transactions per second, like that of bitcoin. In prospective coins, scalability reaches up to a million transactions per second. Therefore,  certainly in this respect bitcoin has become very slow. He needs to improve, otherwise he may lose his great popularity.

For me if you're aiming to arbitrage the Bittrex $BTG price right now. Other cheaper exchanges like HitBTC, Binance, Bitfinex aren't allowing BTG withdraws due to the obvious price madrush. At least that's what i've come across so far. but if you were able to find an exchange that allows for it right now. But still I'll be staying and stick to do it via bitcoin myself right now.

Do you mean the speed of transaction or the speed of the price movement. If the first one then I think at some point in time Other projects will take over the crypto crown.

I think it depends to the qualifications of coins. But we all know that bitcoin is the most powerful and trusted when we talk to cryptocurrency.it doesn't mean bitcoin is slow or dropping slowly . Bitcoin still bitcoin and no one else could be replaced it.

As respects venture advancement, BTC is plainly slower than a few Altcoins. This is exceptionally self-evident. Be that as it may, since the whole crypto advertise isn't doing comparable to it should, all the cryptos, great or not, promising or simply poop, great coins or shitcoins are going down. It evens the odds by one means or another. In any case, the most compelling motivation why BTCremains to be on top notwithstanding its moderate update is that it is the start of crypto. It is the adoptive parent.

Among all the cryptocurrencies that exists I only knew that bitcoin is the most profitable and promising crypto so far. Though there are some crypto's that trying to beat the popularity and the value of bitcoin but still it is failed to get into bitcoin's place and I bet that this coins would go a lot of process to be able to replace it.

Bitcoin has been on a fast journey all this time since it was created bitcoin, but the end of bitcoin is a bit slow for travel, but it's also not so lagging with altcoins travel for a while.
I agree, bitcoin is not the best choice in this case

Tortoise and Hare.

The altcoins that move fast can be scary... Take syscoin for example... We've had lack 4 hardforks in less than 4 years. It's quite a scare when your money changes so quickly, it kind of feels like you've been taken along.

Now, I happen to love syscoin and agree with the hardforks.

But I would hate it if Bitcoin did that to me, and a lot of other crypto is based on bitcoin so it would be really disruptive.

The difficulty of getting consensus is a feature, not a bug.

Bitcoin is already successful enough and we get constant innovation, plus at some point all the bells and whistles will be easier to add on second layer protocols like the lightning network.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

Bitcoin has been in the throne for a long time. i am now not sure that altcoin can beat bitcoin but within the coming years I assume there can be a few coin that may compete with bitcoin.

I do not think there are current coins on Bitcoin, which can increase prices faster. Bitcoin prices are always changing, but it is very important to grow in the front. Many big holders and bitcoin investors think that the prices of Bitcoin will increase very soon. It may be thought to be in the end of 2018 or maybe. As a result, everyone can expect profit..... Uniquely other coins are moving faster, but this does not prevent the bitcoin from remaining the most important coin. it seems to me that this bitcoin speed is still quite enough for him

now all the coins are passively in the cryptocurrency market, no one is trying to make some kind of breakthrough to move up, at any time, any of the coins can just explode and not continue their work.

I strongly don't agree that the other coins move faster than bitcoin. First of all, bitcoin is the father of all coins. Bitcoin has been on the top since the start. I am not sure if any coin can beat bitcoin. But im sure that in the end, bitcoin will be in the top always.

my answer is depending on the motion of the crypto. there is nothing to move or get fast if the crypto is low. and if you look at the btc it just gets pretty high.

I can just add that in comparison with for example ethereum bitcoin develops slower. Lat week i read that ethereum platform is going through some changes that will speed the processing of transactions up to 1000 per second. I think, this is very impressive.
