I do not think they can only move if bitcoin is on the rise and if bitcoin down all the coins in the market will also come down because they follow the bitcoin trail so they move if bitcoin up

I agree with your mind. Because the market is like a people in social life. If somebody is doing something as if people want to do the same things. It's really like a social life.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

I dont think that other coins will move faster over than bitcoin, i am a solid fan of bitcoin and i know that bitcoin will always remain as the number coin and for me bitcoin will bounceback this month and it will surely rise again it's price

Weather the coin moves faster or not the main disadvantage of other coin us that it's negative trust. I'm not saying that the other coins are fake, I'm just saying the Bitcoin has gained trust of many people. So of course Bitcoin will remain ahead of the others due to this advantage.

Btc is known worldwide and it moves faster than we think. The first crypto in history. Its gaining more trust to the people and the advantage is easy to join and use it.

Yes, I know that Bitcoin moves faster and there are some other coin that are also moving fast such as ETH this coin moves faster too like Bitcoin  and other currencies that moves faster but not expanding like Bitcoin because there is no global recognition. Bitcoin is the highest coin that moves faster.

[I agree-bitcoin is the fastest coin!]

I think bitcoin is not too slow because one year ago the price of bitcoin is only 2000 dollars and now it become doubled so it is a good indicator that bitcoin is being great this year, if other coins are faster than bitcoin then we can say that it is an opportunity for us to gain much higher profit.

I think not, bitcoin seems to move slowly because bitcoin has soared and fallen. So even though bitcoin moves, people will only see it as slow motion because in fact they can not wait to see the bitcoin soar again.
Altcoin can continue to grow but most of them just pump and die.

I think Bitcoin is the number one coin but sometimes the transaction is too slow the good news is the bitcoin value that can increase in a few weeks. I know that bitcoin is the strongest coin in the crypto industry, We'll see better bitcoin improvement and future.
And So many coins in the cryptocurrency industry

I don't think bitcoin is uncompetitive. Contrary to your point of view, bitcoin is slow because it is bigger in volume, and more people like bitcoin. Most of the money is in this coin.

It seems bitcoin is one of the slowest crypto currency. Ephyrium works much faster and will work even faster after important updates.Soon will appear meinnet at EOS and I will be interested to see its speed, communicate that it will exceed the weight of expectation

The OP talks about slowness in decision making. But sometimes, decisions cannot be taken on contentious issues. That is one reason why we have had multiple forks in the last year or so. This method of developing consensus does not suite everybody.

exactly that is why there is some cases where we can see the slow movement of some currency this may not be a big deal but why is it may ever have to happen , so we have learn here to be more patient about on what we can be able to experience for.

I think the community plays a huge role in the movement of coins, Bitcoin has a major problem when it comes to reaching a consensus between the community and it's the reason why it has become slow compared to some other altcoins.

True, altcoin moves faster than bitcoin in terms of development and price. Currently we can see that altcoin now grows very fast with its own advantages, but for the aspect of confidence bitcoin is still superior compared to others.

I believe other altcoins are fast because all the hardship and struggle was already overcome by Bitcoin. Today cryptocurrency are more acceptable than before that is why altcoin are now faster in terms of value. That is why all altcoins are totally dependent in Bitcoin.

Not even I think they can only move us bitcoin on the rise and if bitcoin down they too will come down so they just like fuel because they need power to walk and if their fuel runs out they will not be able to walk back so they need bitcoin to move again

I do not think so, because it's the same as bitcoin. Altcoin also follows the price of bitcoin and therefore nothing is faster than bits of bitcoin.

community decentralization of bitcoin is not effecting any thing in bitcoin, and again no alternative cryptocurrency has the capacity to compete with bitcoin in terms of price because bitcoin still determine the Price of most coins in the market. Now Bitcoin is most powerful currency and high rate currency in the world.

I think that bitcoin is really very slow, there are coins much faster, for example, you can consider the ethereum. It is so fast, and soon will be even faster, because we are expecting new updates.

Bitcoin is the king of all coins, meaning it's a determinant factor for the movement of other coins. So there is no way other coins can move faster than Bitcoin
