Other altcoins are not faster than Bitcoin. Bitcoin still leads the way. If you observe very well, it is when Bitcoin is doing very well that all other alts tend to pick up. The only thing you might say is that some of this altcoins tend to move very fast during the first week they are listed, but will still slow down again after a short while.
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

Other coins are quick to rise but most of the time they don't maintain it for a long time. What bitcoin has an advantage of is that it is already a legacy. It will be hard for other coins to compete with it im the larger picture. Other coins might have more features but most people knows only bitcoin.  It's hard to think if the future will be the same as this tho.

It basically depends on the hype, any new updates from the dev team etc. I believe eventually there will be coins/tokens that are developed to tackle one aspect of our society, one blockchain per problem faced by the human community. So depending on that certain cryptocurrencies will move faster than others. And sometimes the cryptocurrency will move faster than Bitcoins as well.

In my opinion, other coins are moving quickly.
I suppose at this time that many new coins appear in the Cryptocurrency market is causing a lot of coins in the market and make many people confused about the number of coins.
This makes Bitcoin unchallenged, Bitcoin who initially felt to be a superior coin is now being changed position.
Now Bitcoin enthusiasts are dwindling, there are many who buy cheaper but profitable altcoin than Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a higher value so the other coins will move faster than it is because it has a low value or a smaller market value cap. And the demands will greatly increase if they can see the potential of one coin that are properly designated.

I don't think so, as long as there are still many people using Bitcoin, it will still be trending to the community, because most of altcoins nowadays are nothing without bitcoin, for example in the market, you cannot buy altcoins if you don't have Bitcoin.

I don't think the market is indeed in some crypto this month suffered a slow progression and this occurred on a reasonable trade crypto. But if we see that Bitcoin is currently slowing down and I suspect will happen something very big at all crypto coins. And I am sure this will happen this year and I think at the end of the year.

Exchange coins are moving fast by virtue of their reasonableness and easy to enter nature. Consider the bitcoin and any altcoin and you will see that there is no relationship between's them by any stretch of the creative energy. In at any rate bitcoin is best with simply inconvenience that not a lot of us understand its genuine use and this present reality employments of it. Altcoin are just way to deal with receive into crypto expands snappy and thus benefit in return. That is the reason we see packs of volume going into the alts rather than bitcoin. In any case, while is truly apparent in light of the way that paying little mind to what new theorists close by the old one by and large welcome the bitcoin and put into it at the main go through. Alts comes later on and after that they are placed assets into the need of getting benefits.

Other coins can give better returns but:

1) You also get a lot of safety with bitcoins as it is very much stable.

2) Most of coins just follow the price movement of bitcoins.

It is very much true, bitcoin prices have risen so much that there is very less scope for growth now. Mew alt coins can give better returns.

BTC remains the pioneer crypto. And it is still a ways off on being thrown far from that throne. actual, come altcoins are higher at growing fee, however you're now not sure bout the longetivity of that coin. Many altcoins have grown so rapid and fall too speedy already. however bitcoin already have stable backers and conitnuously growing. I think you are simply asking which cash to higher earnings, and short cash. investing is all approximately patience, lad.

Bitcoin you can look at it as an old grandpa in the battlefields for quite some times opening pathways for other new and fresher coins. BTC is very old but still have its use case as a p2p system, but the speed and cost to make payments are still a great complications for end users nowadays. So ofcourse other coins such as XRP that will compete with swift in terms of cost and speed will make the difference.

etherum is altcoin that has a very fast movement. etherum develops very well from year to year and keeps improving its quality. and as a bounty paltform, etherum is the best.

Bitcoin is just more established and stbale than other coin, its now widely known and accepted already. Bitcoin has reached its good state already which make it seems to be slow in progress. Other coin are actually juat dependent on bitcoin, they usually go where the Bitcoin orice go. New coin shows fast growth since its still starting to make a community that will partake on the development but in the long run, it will surely become like bitcoin also.

Yes, because bitcoin is the very first digital currency and bitcoin is the basis of the crypto price, even if other coins move faster no one can still beat what bitcoins already achieved now.
