How it works for the User

The ARROUND platform represents a combination of virtual and real worlds with a WOW-effect.
How does it work? We have two mechanisms for aligning the user and objects in augmented reality
with the real-world objects: geopositioning and marker technology.
 
For the user, the system is convenient and easy to use. It doesn’t require any special skills or sophisticated hardware except the AR headset or a smartphone that supports AR technology.

The user can open the ARROUND app and see the ARROUND world through her headset lens or mobile phone screen. By pointing the camera at real-world objects, the user can see “rounds” — posts in augmented reality made by the user herself or by other users, as well as other content existing in the system. For example, it could be a virtual girl who shows the user around a mall, or it could also be a game (like the world-famous Pokémon Go).

By default, rounds (posts) will be deleted 24 hours after being posted to avoid cluttering the space. If the user wants their round to live longer, they can pay for an extension. In order to do that — as well as when purchasing other AR content in the system — the user can top up their wallet in the system 19 with ARR tokens. All the transactions on the platform will be carried out using ARR tokens. Therefore, the user can buy tokens during the ICO (or on cryptocurrency exchanges after the ICO) and use them in the application by indicating her public cryptocurrency account.
