put the following addnodes into ixcoin.conf

addnode=52.15.150.105
addnode=18.216.35.168
addnode=18.217.178.46


You can also use the addnode command in debug console

for windows ixcoin.conf can usually be found/created in c:\users\'username'\appdata\roaming\ixcoin\

Appdata is a hidden directory.

For linux it can be found in .ixcoin under user's home - also a hidden directory

The number of nodes has increased in the last days! I've been watching this a few weeks ago when someone who has DVC had written something in IXC! I'm glad to hear that I still got to the party! When will the next wallet be released?

Weeks not months - update in-process can be viewed on github at https://github.com/ixcore/ixcoin

New version will match bitcoin core 0.16.1 features with a few additions - merge mining with bitcoin, a mining fund that can be donated to, and capability of supporting higher number of transactions.

Some Wifi networks will block IP ports used. Also, if updating from an older version of the client, you may have to download the full blockchain - should not take more than a couple/few hours with a fast connection.

Method not found (code -32601)  and on home network- was using version 0.9.2.1  and now switched to newest version, maybe should wait for  upcoming client.

you can try clearing the peers.dat file also.

Price isn't going to matter until script is read correctly on BTC's ledger.

Prices are falling, but there are stocks of IXC on sale, this is interesting and shows solidity! Not for less, 7 years of existence, it takes a lot of strength and ability to be alive and with great projection to the future... I regret not having met Ixcoin before, but it was good because it's rare to find solid coin.
A coin that can be in the top 30 fast.
