I see ixcoin is making some moves but most likely by a few peasants who don't understand it takes big bucks to play this game so they will pay dearly for my stack if they want to play with the big boys. I guarantee you they won't make it past 1 dollar unless they have 10k to spend but we all know these new money wannabe whales and their lunch money will run out of steam well below paying 1 usd per coin

Absolutely!

This is the fourth or fifth time we have built IXCoin up on a third-party, "custodial" exchange, in the past each time we got it to a dollar or more the exchange pulled the rug, flew by night, claimed to have been hacked, de-listed the coin, and so on and so on, forcing us to start over on yet another exchange.

In case FreiExchange does the same, I am also building on the HORIZON and Stellar platforms, where one's buy-side at least can reside safely in one's own non-custodial wallet while still being in place as buy-offers visible to aggregator sites that use the buy offers to compute what they think the value per coin or token is.

In the Galactic Milieu of course we don't have to rely upon the vagaries of the buy-offers visible on exchanges to compute a value per coin or token, because for important coins like IXCoin and I0Coin we can build "treasuries" whose total value can be divided by the number minted to compute a value.

The weird thing though is that despite the fact that I0Coin's treasury divided by its number minted computes a much higher value per coin than IXCoin's does yet folk keep paying more attention to IXCoin than to I0Coin...

The cryptopia wallet contains coins probably beloning to many people here including myself so I definitely am not in favour of this because if a coin can do this to wallet addresses then its integrity value alone is worthless and it would be seen as a worthless investment or hedge by big players who could see their coins frozen or locked out etc in the future.

Anyway a fork of a coin is not the coin. All forks are frauds in reality because it is not the original coin and just an offshoot. Unless you hold coins on the original ixcoin chain then you do not hold ixcoins. The same goes for tokens based on ixcoin. If ixcoin went or goes through a mandatory hardfork by community consensus somehow you would be legally due the same amount of coins off that also but unless the original chain is stopped or unusable then it is the original chain technically so the forked coin would need to be renamed forked ixcoin,new ixcoin or something other than ixcoin. I don't remember ixcoin ever being hardforked unless someone clearly shows where this happened.

The only problem IXCoin has is a liquidity problem.If you have bitcoin and want to buy something with crypto its easy enough to just trade it for litecoin and then take advantage of litecoins low transaction fees v bitcoins ridiculous transaction fee.You certainly won't see whales or people who want to spend bitcoin using IXCoin because it would be impossible and therein lies the problem.Sad when you see scammers using IXCoins name/ticker to pump some memecoin masquerading as the real IXCoin and probably doing better than the real thing.

Unless those links go to coinbase or binance don't even bother with it.The only thing that matters is liquidity, volume ,price, market. We are not "here for the tech"
