[ANN] IXCoin [IXC] The Original Bitcoin Sidechain

An interesting bonus both IXCoin and I0Coin turn out to have from being such ancient coins with such ancient association with the Galactic Milieu...

It turns out that they date back so very very far that they were already in place and set up before the rule about General Hosting Corp aka Galactic Holding Corp "shares" could only be held by Civilisations.

However it came about, the fact is that both IXCoin and I0Coin have, counting toward their treasuries, one thousand "shares" of GHC each.

As I write this post, the Latest Rates include-file shows sGHC as worth 355021.13314640 DeVCoins, which by dividing by the shown value of IXCoins, 643.27608417 DVC, comes out to 551.89543320 IXCoins each, or by dividing by the shown value of I0Coins, 692.04160209 DVC, comes out to 513.00547839 I0Coins each.

The benefits though are far more than the simple value added to the treasury, because the implication is that both IXCoin and I0Coin do in fact have at least one "Civilisation" each.

It also means that both are empowered to obtain from General Hosting Corp MUDgaard player-accounts, and in fact that table of prices for such accounts probably needs to be expanded to show prices in IXCoin and prices in I0Coin.

Basically no-one knows what Civilisation or Civilisations IXCoin and I0Coin are the currencies of, but such Civilisations apparently do exist "out there somewhere".

It also means that the impression generally held that the Ixian family on the MUDgaard server probably got their player-account(s) from the galactic United Nations, is presumably wrong, that in fact they got such account(s) directly themselves.

This information was actually uncovered by followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the Paladins Noodles and Noodly and the priest Noo, in the course of their own investigations into setting up a Civilisation and/or obtaining MUDgaard player-accounts.

Noo is currently seeking to make contact on the Crossfire-RPG Play-to-Earn server (Server1.Knotwork.net) with the quetzalcoatl Ixi, the Ixian representative on that server, both to broach the idea that Ixalovh (The Noodly One's name on that world apparently) would be a good official deity for the Ixians and to see about obtaining, through the Ixians, a MUDgaard player-account.

The name on that world of the deity that seems to be basically JCI (Judeo-Christio-Islamic) is Valriel, enemy of demons, cult monsters being angels and archangels and such...

Sorry, we no longer give out these powerful accounts to random passers-by. Not even all nations manage to achieve the technology required to take part in this intergalactic opportunity, and of individuals few indeed possess the enormous riches required to invest in this extremely lucrative business.

The early-adopter days of easy riches are gone, players nowadays must start as individual characters. If you wish to take that challenge, you can either install a Crossfire RPG client or use the a browser-launched java client. In either case, the server you need is the "CrossCiv" server, and to take part in this Galactic opportunity you will want to select a character type that will result in your being placed in the Science-Fiction milieu not the Fantasy milieu.

Well if you are only interested in the coin, not any games etc that might use it, you could just look at the arbitrage opportunities between FreiExchange and the Stellar platform, both IXCoin and I0Coin tend to fetch much better prices on Stellar than on FreiExchange.

You need to play this game bro. I used to be all against diversity but now I have a date lined up with an octopus but she hasn't told me her name yet. She wants to team up and go to battle against some fools trying to move in on her turf and is looking for some muscle. All her foot soldiers have big scary tentacles but all I see are a bunch of suckers ripe for a good ole shakedown. What lawyers own the first address and why? I can only imagine vlad on youtube declaring crypto jihad on your a$$ for even the suggestion about forking it although he was yammering on about it already having some secret fork that we are supposed to get coins from provided we don't sell the ones we have yet. If you find the "permadeath" feature a problem at first you can of course practice on any "normal" Crossfire-RPG server to get aquainted with the general mechanics of the game on a server where dying simply puts you back at your "savebed" usually with all your gear, but do be aware that the Galactic Milieu's Crossfire-RPG servers operate in "permadeath" mode, partly because we aim toward roleplaying more than being a simple "twitch style" videogame.

You likely will not see Knotwork.net nor Knotwork.com servers listed by the "metaserver" your client uses to show a list of servers to connect to but you should be able nonetheless to go ahead and connect to one of our servers by specfically telling it to by name e.g. Server1.Knotwork.net

Who got control of the ~ 2M ixcoin? The richest address along a few other minor addresses are showing no movement.

I don't think there has been a distriution of low value assets yet but once IXCoin is being actively traded and has an attributed value there is no reason anyone who lost coins there shouldn't have them refunded because they were not stolen from the exchanges wallet.

I was hoping to recover something but have given up at this stage. I had only about 3700 coins there though so not really worried because I already bought some on freiexchange and sold them on the stellar platform a few times and made roughly what they were worth anyway but would be nice to get them back.

**URGENT**  Notice in the #ixcoin whitepaper there will be a donation address to keep the blockchain going at 1 #IXC per block which right now is being paid out by the premine which was repaid.  
If no donations come in beyond that point there is the possibility that the oldest and largest wallets that haven't moved at all in a decade+ will see some coins used for paying miners.  
This was (unanimously) community approved so if you have a large wallet then any activity in it will reset that clock.  I'm in the top 10 wallets, and i can't reach my hardware wallets so i'm at big risk myself.  No whining to me about it later, i won't tolerate that insubordination.

He means that large wallets with the bulk of balance that have been sitting idle will have to pay the rent from now on. You will have to pay for the privilege of being a whale by contributing to the network so it becomes self sufficient after all that hard proof of work is over so between this and tx fees IXCoin can live forever unlike 99% of the shitcoins out there. It can be implemented through the code that has been voted on.

You see IXCoin has already proven what will happen to bitcoin once the last coin has been mined. Essentially IXCoin is a future time traveler way ahead of ze bitcorn
