No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.

Altcoin cannot scape from the shadow of Bitcoin because they only replica of Bitcoin. No matter how good their technology they cannot deny the reality that they will not exist without bitcoin. Unless they came up with something new that is better than blockchain technology, they will remain in the shadow of bitcoin.

When it comes to the crypto world BTC is the king and nothing can change that for now. There is always a ruling party in everything we do so I guess is no surprise that BTC is the ruling party when it comes to altcoins. When it comes to pump and dump and whale groups those r the forces really manipulating the market.

I agree with you, it would be nice if this trend would change, but not that sure it actualy will in the near future. Bitcoin's dominance just got stronger in the last months, which makes the trend even more solid IMO.

I agree that all the counterfeits have to do with bitcoin.

Altcoin is depending on top coins such as BTC or ETH. It is because the  technology of altcoins are not completed and the investors do not totally believe in this altcoin, in downtrend, they only conceive in USDT or BTC

Yes, in most of the cases Altcoins truly act like this, with some exceptions of course. Maybe the trend will change, when some coin will surpass Bitcoin, but not sure when it will happen, now we have seen how vulnerable is Ethereum too.

The problem of altcoys is that they are not working coins, in their own number, but simply speculative tools, inflated by the promises of developers.
