Bitcoin affects students' performance in school

As far as I can observe being a teacher, I am definitely happy that my students are involve in cryptocurrencies and they earn for themselves and help their families. But, their school perfomance is getting worse. Please give your thoughts how will you help students to earn and at the same time it won't affect their school works?

Earning bitcoin can affect student's performance due to the fact they really get attracted to the value of it. Imagine yourself having a lot of money just because bitcoin's value increased 5 times. I couldn't think of anything but telling them that we should value the education because in the first place it will make their parents proud. It would really be a big help if we teach them on how to manage their time.

It's even affecting employees' performance (as the stock market was always doing during periods of craziness)...So unless you've a daily role related to BTC or the crypto currency, you'll not always be able to make the balance
My advice for them is to set fixed times for it; early morning, break time, on their way back home, evening, before bed......That could work well

Firstly, involving in cryptocurrencies by students it is very good thing for students to improve their financial conditions and somehow help their parents.

So, as per my understanding and knowledge students must follow the some principle by making time table for both involving in cryptocurrencies and study..
Firstly student calculate how much time they involving in cryptocurrencies and how much in stduy..
Thereafter increased and decreased time accordingly whatever need much time or less.
Also students can reduced their other unusefull activity..

Maybe it is because their focus would be divided between study and doing bitcoins and can't concentrate on both. I think the situation is dependent to each person if they can handle both without any conflict or negative result on each other. One of the best way to manage this kind of situation is to give the student a proper time management on each of the two so it will be conveniently and correctly done.

I don't think so i think being a student i observes that cryptocurrencies doesn't affect my performance in school. it can be possible by being responsible and knowing how to balance your time and know our own priorities. We have to know which one is more important. We can post or earn bitcoin during free time or vacant time and also during lunch and maybe after school and after doing our projects or assignment.

Well for me it depends on a student how reponsoble he/she is, but if a student want to be respomsible, you just need to post when it's your free time, but just focus on your study, and don't neglect your study. And there is also a student that don't affect their studying , bt they learn a lot here in bitcoin just like by correcting the grammar and the english that you were saying is very plenty.

Different type of students have different way to study. You have to serious about your study to get a good result. Bitcoin is a very wonderful coin and by using this coin they can earn money for themselves and can help to their family. Honestly bitcoin will not take your extra time because there is no any physical work. Just you have to get all the news and do what requires. I think it's true many students feel they can earn a income because of the price volatility and studies isn't much important.The solution is allowing students some time during their school time for allowing them to earn money or give them lectures and tell them importance of earning money and at the same time that studies is also important.

I think so. When students become interested in bitcoin, they know that bitcoin can make a profit, and they will spend more time on it, which will affect their performance at school.

Hello mam/sir I also notice these things. I think it would be better if you will better if you would enlighten things to their mind that even though they can now earn money and can provide their needs, they should not stop themselves from learning. You should tell them that it is better to be rich in mind than to be rich in money because in the future if they will not treasure what they have learn in school, they will experience the biggest regret of life. Maybe it is better to talk to them and tell them that they should not neglect their studies because they will need it in the future and earning can wait.

Your right, their are many parents worrying about the really impact of bitcoin does tonthe younger people especially on their studies. Well, on my opinion on that situation, I think if all can be manageable by our each and everyone responsibility definitely it will not affected by the guidance of their parents or guardians to those students that might affected their studies. I think everyone will get distracted as soon as they start to involve into bitcoin especially young people, first, being surprised and impressed by its power and how it can be very helpful to improve financial situations easily, second, getting attached to uncertain thing, that will make anyone stressed, baffled and unsure especially if it becomes a job and the only income, people will wake up stressed in the morning and first thing to do is to check the bitcoin price, students will be distracted in schools thinking if the price or the fees are going up or down, and that can really affect their lives in a negative way, so i suggest you make a small presentation to show the positive and the negative sides of bitcoin, you have to show them how bitcoin is risky and we cannot count 100% on it, schools and education come first and bitcoin is just some coin and they cannot gain knowlegde with money.

It depends on what they want to be when they grow up. There are useful skills to learn from bitcoin, not just mathematics and computing, but also trading skills and market research. Education should come first though of course
