I do not see this as a dirty trick. Yes, I participate in such ICO. I like everything honestly and looks dignified.

Some ico company are demanding kyc, it means that company are genuine and they are going to distribute coins exact person not a fake person. It is good for everyone that companies are demanding Kyc. Don't hesitate to give it.

The requirements of the campaigns for the passage of KYC are based on their fear of financial regulators. After all, they can be accused of aiding and abetting money laundering. The procedure of KYC can protect them in such a case. At present, it is practically impossible to find a good ICO without a KYC. The more complex the process of joining ICO, the more profitable it can be.

Many of the ICOs that I tried to invest were requiring the KYC identification...but I suppose that this is normal for investors to pass that process in order to put money in. Worse, if they are not saying that for BH.

I join only the ICOs where is KYC. It seems to be more trustful for me that abandoned countries with cryptocurrencies are controlled, but the KYC is often very easy to cheat, it should be controlled in better way.

Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

I don't understand why KYC can be a reason to be cautious on project.
KYC and AML are to keep such people like you from being scammed.
It is okay for ICO to require KYC.
I would say it should be mandatory.

I am against KYC procedure, I do not trust my personal data - and I consider it an unjustified risk for profit. I hope that this procedure will not be mandatory for all projects

Of course, I participate in this. This allows you to protect the project from scammers. But do not forget about protecting your data and documents, using watermarks

Not necessarily Initial Coin Offerings that requires the security feature of Know Your Customer but any other potential project like the one pioneered by Vividapp and being managed by one of the most credible people in this forum. Nevertheless having to go through the KYC process should not be a big deal unless you plan on cheating in the campaign which is not good, if everyone follow the rules all will be fine at the end of course.

I do thin a lot about doing so, but it is just one other factor that may end up with me saying no to the ICO as I need to trust them even more than usual.

Yes nowadays most ICO projects use kyc regulations due to legal issues later on. ico project organizers do not want their projects exposed to legal cases after the ico period ends.

Ok if it's a exchange or a good exchange then only I provide my kyc neither A big no.Same case in icos if the ico is a huge success or I think it gonna be big then only I provide ico.I have no problem with icos cause it's fine for me even I think it's better to have kyc for a ico they can avoid some legal cautions. But now a days the scam rate of icos are many and some of them just not scam you they can sale your personal information. So I think twice before join a ico or a exchange where ico is needed. And providing kyc for a airdrop ,Ok I am not insulating someone but don't be a stupid think man think.

I don't think that's a big deal. Many fear it like the plague but I personally don't understand them and quietly going through this procedure. I do not think that I will hunt due to the fact that I participate in bounty programs

Yes depends on the ICO and what they do and where they are, likley the background of the staff and the legal framework of the ICO is very important before given KYC Information

Yes I do but only for the selected projects. There is no problem in doing KYC of good projects. It always helps to identify the spammers to the project manager.

It seems to me that spammers can buy documents for the transfer of KYC. Therefore, he will not help them in the procodest. And the fact that in a normal project you can easily go through KYC, I agree.

No, I do not take part where KYC is needed. I keep my confidy. And your data in the future can be sold in the dark market. The developers of ico can not give any guarantee that your data will not be received by third parties.

Of course because every ICO is different. Although a bit too complicated I still follow it. Because I'm sure that every ICO I choose even with KYC, will definitely succeed in the future.

The whole KYC thing does look quite comforting for someone looking for a really legit project, I mean, KYC gives the ICO alot of reliability because they want to know with who they are working with.
