I would like to add to this that some people are pathologically addicted to gambling. Yes its a disease for them and they cant keep their hands off the casino when they have time at hand. They would procure every penny simply to gamble it away and then cry about it. But even if they repent they dont care if they go into debt. They need professional help and thus are a social nuisance.

The only positive thing that gambling can teach you is - Greed kills and one should never be greedy in life. Be content with what you have, try to earn and live a happy life but never be greedy.

Generally, people tend to gamble due to the mindset that it can solve their financial problems but in reality, only makes their situation worse. The problem with gambling is it creates this endless cycle of people going-in and out regardless of their winnings/losings. For example, if a person won in gambling the tendency is that he will most likely visit a casino soon bringing that mindset that the odds are always on his favor. The other example is if a person loses in gambling, the tendency is he will continue to gamble to recover his losses.

It is easier said than done but that is the right thinking. Once a person gets addicted to something, they attached themselves to it making it difficult for them to let-go. I am sure you will see a lot of strange stories, but in the end only few gamblers left who have equal lose/ profit, mostly are addicted and mostly left the gambling. I rely only one lucky gambler out of thousands who said that he is successful gambler for every time.

That's really true, Gambling is one of the riskiest activities to get profit, It's not guaranteed, everything they're based on luck, especially games based on random ways, Like dice. You don't really need a big amount of BTC to win big. All you need is luck, which in reality is not something you can just improve, acquire, or change just like an RPG game. You can make a measly 1mBTC to 1BTC if you get that lucky. But that is something we cannot predict or expect to always happen, so this is the reason why we cannot rely on gambling to make money.

Good effect of gambling you have listed above is just opposite of the things you have listed under bad effects and I think its true. What you can gain from gambling is the same thing that you can also loss with gambling.

You can either get pleasure of profit or depression of loss and You can either get rich or loss all you have with gambling.

The funniest part though is that most of the time, anyone who starts gambling with a wrong mindset like they want to make profit or something related, they always end up in that depressive and addictive state.

so we are in the same boat which doesn't have a problem with those bad effects and we know how it feels to get a big loss. I learn from my lost and I don't want to get a big loss again in the future so I think we need to learn about controlling yourself before it's too late to realize. and if finally, we are too late to realize our loss, then maybe it is time for us to quit the games and leave the place as soon as possible.
