Depends what you mean by"kill." If we make sure that cryptocurrencies are not used as a global payment system, in this case, the world government will be able to prevent this. But it is too resource-intensive and will not be justified. IMHO

I think it is ridiculous to think that fiat currency is going to be extinct when roughly one percent of the world knows about blockchain and cryptocurrencies. It is absurd to think of it and believe it also. I don't think fiat currency will go extinct, it may evolve but that's it no death of money. We've been using it for thousands of years.

Even if the crypto currencies replace the cache for ordinary people it will not be noticeable, they will still use a credit card as before, not knowing how their transactions are processed.

Well, you're not the only one who had questions like these. You're like the 100th. Of course it won't. It's pretty far-off from even crashing from this point because of how much development it has made during the past years. It would have bloomed beautifully this time if not for the crash.

Cash and credit cards will be very important for a long time. Very few people know what crypto currency is. I don't think that in the coming years the currency will be able to replace cash.

Many Say Cryptocurrency Will Kill  Fiat Currency and Creating FUD all around the Internet, According to me if this statement is correct then CR.CARD Dr, Card has done this Long back, Cryptocurrency will be used by Smart people in future and many businesses will opt this for fast transaction

It's not easy to kill cash because still many people don't know and understand cryptocurrency and they will keep using Cash.

Whats your view about this

Definitely no, there's no chances that fiat money will be replaced by cryptocurrency at a whole, maybe in some instances but totally I don't believe on that speculation about cryptocurrency, I think this currency is good only for especial function, that's why in every ICO project is always included in the white paper the platform and the purpose of their coin.

Yes definitely Cryptocurrency will kill cash because very few people know about cryptocurrency. Indian government also being focus in cashless. If MODI is repeat again in 2019, i think in coming 4-5 years INDIA will become cashless. We need fast internet facility, Credit card and Debit card also playing an important role. Nowadays, maximum peoples are also interested in digital work.

Personally I don't think so. This market will not completely supplant the flat money, but cryptocurrency can take a large share of currency and sometimes everyone will use coins to daily needs.

I don't think that cryptocurrency will "kill" cash, to be honest, they need to walk side-by-side and supporting each other. Because not all country implements crypto or even allow them to fully take over their fiat (for now), both of them need to exist so there will be a balance of the currency.

I think cryptos can't substitute cash completely... maybe cryptos will be used as a faster means of value exchange but I don't think Fiat money will desappear, or at least not soon.

I don't believe in sweep this crazy cryptocurrency all cash. There are many places in the world where maps are still fantastic. Cryptocurrency is dependent on light and computer.

Cash has the full power of the government, and it's very helpful for spontaneous transactions. Although technology has grown very rapidly, traditional transactions are still needed in case of system errors.

Cash is already dead. VISA and Mastercard are the murders. Crypto cannot replace the existing system, because is not offering nothing meaningful so far. Only fast payments. Unfortunately money are a lot more.

Presently an ever increasing number of banks the world over observe a risk to themselves from the digital currency. What's more, this isn't futile. After some time, the digital money will incredibly push the managing an account framework. Numerous individuals will comprehend the upside of digital currency before the managing an account framework and will leave banks.

No, I doubt anything will kill cash.  Cash is pretty much anonymous and is accepted worldwide by everyone.  The feeling of holding stacks of cash is hard to beat.  Cash will always be king in the real world.

We can't stop the development of cryptocurrency, but cryptocurrency can't replace cash. The cryptocurrency is still not recognized by the state. There are still more people who don't know cryptocurrency. I think cryptocurrency still has a long way to go. At least 10 years, but cash has a thousand years of history.

We are lucky to have cryptocurrency,
it's not Crypto that will kill cash, but the cashless society is well underway, banks, governements, fiscal institutes all drive this.  Here where i live fi it's not done anymore to deposit cash on the counter at a bank, just a few machines accept deposits.  All this helps to have an eye on the moneystreams.
So call myself lucky with Crypto that i can do with my funds what i want without peering eyes.(For now)

It looks like an impossible thing to do that. the cash is fully regulated and approved by the government. There will be a transition from using the paper money to replace it with the digital transaction system but i guess that needs a lot of time to do that, Crypto has a potential to replace the fiat money as long as it's enough scalable to be used by all of the people around the world and the value can be trusted.

you need a lot of time to get rid of the cash altogether. My opinion is that they will exist in parallel with each other, without resisting each other
