I think Cryptocurrency will kill cash, because when more and more people accept Cryptocurrency, then the use frequency of cash will be more and more low, people tend to use smart phone to pay, rather than cash.

Can you even imagine the challenges and concerns with this scenario. Should cryptocurrencies 'kill' cash, new infrastructure would be needed for the world to adapt. Such a tough transition, as cash could become unacceptable quite quickly, with people losing assets. Financial institutions would have to revamp their systems. With governments losing control i dont see crypto 'killing' cash at all.

Fiat money is never dies. I do not think that crypto will kill that.
Many of people around in the world do not know about of crypto. Cash is still alive.

Cash could be killed without crypocurrency. The target of crypocurrency is the banks, not cash.

What is your reference to say the target of cryptocurrency is bank and not cash?
I think the first target is become the world largest currency online where peer to peer currency without third party. Second of course bank and cash. But i dont think the second goal can be realized. Bank and cash are backed by government. Remember that.

Yes cryptcurrency may kill cash in the future but not in the sense of eradicating it. I think cryptocurrency and cash can co-exist without problem. Cryptocurrency will be superior to cash and cash will be used easily by those that can not understand cryptocurrency and yet those cadh will representing cryptocurrency!

Bitcoin to get full adoption, people have to switch from fiat to cryptocurrencies. The more people switch to cryptos, the more merchants will accept it.

This thing will just become a dream mainly because people using cryptocurrency only to gain profit and consider this as a money generator for them. People generally exchange back their cryptocurrency to their local fiat after reaching some kind of profit target.
Also the existence of bitcoin debit card itself could kill this purpose because debit card needs to convert to fiat first before can be used, the difference is that there's a platform that bridging you to convert your money easily.

That's the main difference between the so called crypto coins and fiat money; the later is currency and the former isn't!

A currency is supported by a central government, is regulated and paired with other currencies via institutional mechanisms.

No current crypto asset comes even close to the aforementioned definition, therefore it is incorrect to talk about "cryptocurrencies".

In our economic system fiat rules supreme because it is based on commodities like gold and oil.

The main role of crypto/blockchain technologies is to create an alternative way for people to makes transactions; faster, anonymous and without paying banks fees.

But replacing fiat will require a whole new world order and that's not around the corner...
yeah, that's true but you still haven't made a clear point can that new world order exist or it cannot be done?
well, in my opinion replacing or killing cash as the topic says will take a great deal of work, and it could happen but I don't think it's as near as I think how can we deliver to the people that cryptocurrencies are better and efficient in work than other forms of payment.  I am hoping to see any government official that have the guts to test out crypto with the common people and see how it goes

I fully admit that the cryptocurrency will eventually supplant Fiat completely.  We are moving forward, and the form of money will simply change.  Previously, as the money used goods, when the goods were changed for goods, later - gold, and even shells.  Then the paper replaced money the that is now.  And the next stage in the development of the monetary system is the cryptocurrency.

Perhaps in time this will happen (already now the turnover of many countries is expressed in electronic money, not in cash). But it seems to me that if it happens, it will not be soon. In some countries, cash will remain.

through online transactions and money wire cryptocurerncy will be the best and FIAT will be gonna absolutely.
Though if you are telling me that FIAT will be gone on our daily basis and stores personally, well this will be difficult as long as cryptocurrency depend on internet.
this will be impossible as always.

We can all contribute to the new world order, as it was envisioned by Nakamoto and the other cypherpunks. But most people currently dealing with crypto are only concerned with profits and don't care a bit about changing the world.

That's the main problem; technology can not alter the human nature and greed/ambition is a vary natural thing.

Yes, man, you are right. That's where I see main problem also. Most of investors and traders get own profit in fiat. And they work all coins at fiat. But governments will not allow live without regulations. And we have some other social problem not solving by crypto

In the distant future, most likely it will be so. Even without a crypto currency, plastic cards are much more convenient than cash

exactly there is some of the problem here that we all know that crypto cant take that problem to solve for it may takes time before it may solve for but we have to be more aware and not just stick our selves for what we may have to expect for.

Cryptocurrency will never replace cash. There will always be a lot of cases when it is more convenient to pay for goods or services with cash. This is not just buying something in the store, but also, for example, beer money in a restaurant.

You're wrong. So why doesn't the bank cards hadn't kill the fiat currency?
I believe the world will go on with both systems - fiat and cryptocurrency.
