Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future?

I think you must hold some coins from top 10 maybe some day it will be but today bitcoin very popular. If who deserved exist like internet gold so this is just bitcoin.

The title of the topic and yours, undoubtedly the correct conclusion, have nothing to do with each other. Bitcoin is a coin that can be mined. Tokens ICO are not such, they are released immediately, and a limited number. I doubt that ICO tokens can outperform Bitcoin in terms of price and capitalization, and even more so the token will hardly become a universal currency similar to Bitcoin.

Well bitcoin has gone heads and shoulders above other coin. But with a good management team and great potential in terms of investment benefits that height can be reached and even beyound.

I think Litecoin might have a chance. I am talking about market cap obviously, because price will of course always be lower than BTC unless sth unexpected happens. But I think LTC's potential is still underestimated.

Litecoin has potential to grow and i also like it. If i should choose 5 then litecoin is one of them.
When anybody ask me to choose only one then etherium is my choice. I know bitcoin is the best one but etherium is my first choice for investment.

Yes I agree. Bitcoin is known to be the most profitable crypto exist in the  market and even there are many crypto today introduce in the market but still no one can beat bitcoins popularity.

Anything can happen in the future, we never know which coin will take a lead in the future. But, i think it is not easy to take over the BTC position. BTC itself takes 8-9 years to achieve now and become a popular coin. Maybe some coins have potential, but it certainly takes a long time.

True, bitcoin will be the best for another couple of years. But in a very long term, who knows. Maybe bitcoin will lose its popularity and replaced by the other one.

of course bitcoin certainly is the leading crypto currency and in the future the probability that some other crypt will become a leader or at least compete, I do not know .... in my opinion this can only be done artificially by creating an agiotage

I thought it would not be too fast, and I do not know which one. I usually rely on Ethereum, but nobody knows. And I personally believe that some other coins will take over BTC and we will have a new market leader

There is a possibility that the other coins can beat bitcoin in the future. We do not know what will happen in the next years and some coins also grow not only the bitcoin. Plus the market prices is not that stable some increases some decreases and go back again to normal.

Bitcoin is the pioneer of crypto currencies and other altcoins. We can see today that if bitcoin's price will go down, other altcoin's price will go down too. Altcoins' prices are depending on the price of bitcoin, as I observe time to time. If altcoin will beat bitcoin, there is only a small probability for it to happen.

To my mind, the first and most important thing to remember: after all, there will be only 21 million Bitcoins in the world. And it's a point. There will be other currencies that, having split from Bitcoin, will be miserable copies. In the world there is only one real Bitcoin. But yes, maybe in very far future Ethereum have a chance to beat Bitcoin, though, of course, we don't know exaclty.

It depends if the coins become an asset or they become a currency, or both. As a means of exchange, you can’t really beat the original utility token BTC.

Certainly. I'm pretty sure of that. Though it is not known when this will happen. Now bitcoin has become less popular, if earlier it was 80% of the market, now it is 40%. Many coins make it a good competition.

there is no such altcoin
altcoin will remain an altcoin. bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and no one will replace it. in the future I think, but it will be after a 100 yrs from now before it happens.

We can't really tell which ICO will take the lead in the future because a lot of ICO is not legit, I'm not saying all but I met many investors they were scammed. No one will beat the Bitcoin, because Japan's is one of those countries who supports bitcoin which it will not go down as hell. But who knows? the star might fall    A Good ICOS has a very clear roadmap and they've taken care their investors no matter what happens. You have to pick wisely and do research before investing on it. The true success will always depend on how you will manage your investment just have patient on everything and timing is everything when it comes to selling and buying coins.
