For me, I really like to apply TA for this kind of situations and if my analysis tell me to sell then no doubt I will sell my holdings. Someone can say you can't apply TA for Crypto. But we can get some help from that.  Smiley

This decision depends on what kind of project it is, and if the project is not good, it can be thrown.

But I think holding is the best way, because crypto currencies are always volatile, so prices are bound to rise again.

If you are in the world of cryptography, you need to know the risks, the sub coins can make too much and can lose too much, If you panic instead of patience, you lose a lot of things instead of winning.

If you really need money then sell it. If not, then hold it for some more time. Prices of major crypto (btc and eth) are really unstable, prices are really volatile and this decrease of value is normal, in about a month's time, it'll probablt go back two folds. So when that time comes, you can sell it for a much higher value, maximizing your profit.

Sometimes it's best to sell off and take what little profit you can get from a sinking project. But if it's a project you believe in and you did proper hypothesis before investing, you could hold on till it pumps.

in any case .. I think it's better not to fix the minus! You can try a little and wait, though, to go on how much you invested

I’m new to the crypto world, I have some bad experience yet but I’m being educated little-by-little, based on my experience here in crypto world. I notice that some users when they see that bitcoin and ethereum coin had a very bad drop, so does the token, they are selling almost 70% of their holdings of that token. And I have experienced that when the market goes down, so does the token doing some panic sell.  May I ask, is it advisable to sell the tokens you hold, when the price of your token goes really down?

It is a very nasty and bad decision to sell your tokens when the prices go down. When prices are down, you pack, you buy more and hodl
When prices soar high, higher, higher, then you sell and make huge profits which are to be re invested too.

That's the common reaction of people in crypto business. When you are doing trading you should be quick in making decision and determine what will happen next. You should be very careful where to invest. Try to put limit of drop. Sell it when you think the drop will cost you less 20% of your investment. I'm not good at it but I've manage to earn few doing my thing.

no, if we sell the coins we have when there is panic, then we will suffer losses only. in my opinion, when there is a price drop, we do not sell any coins we have but we have to buy some coins and keep them until the price goes up. we must be patient to get the maximum profit with hodlding, because after the price down it will be an increase in market prices

I have a great patience level even I learn it from the crypto market. I believe in holding when the market drops hard. I do not sell I can hold for long-term until market recovers. I am used too of such movement of the market it does not affect me even my past experience said always wait for the right time. Do not sell in hurry. Patience always pays at the end.

Hello, I never miss the altcoins when the price falls strongly. On turnover, when I see that the price has fallen well, I'll buy tokens. And believe me more than once I earned more than planned earlier.

Why should I sell at such moments, I only buy, because I try to average my losses, otherwise you just lose your money, I think that in the case of buying, you at least somehow reduce their risks.

maybe I do not think to sell my tokens when things are down and I will do my best step that is holding it alone and be patient to wait until there is a movement of the token price value, if it starts to increase I will sell it.

No! When your token goes downward (assuming that you've done your research and picked a decent coin), it's the opportunity to average down your cost and buy cheaper. Then if you are down for a 10% loss and you buy in again with the same amount of $, you only need 5% gain to break even again instead of 10%.

Ups and down is the part of the market. So there is no point to sell my altcoins and some coins always worth to hold. Sometime market also test our patience. When I see that the price has fallen well. I will buy tokens and hold it till prices rises and sell it at a high price at the right time which brings a very good profit.

Holding a Token ICO is not a good thing to do when the market is unstable. If you have invested in an ICO, then that is when the Token is indexed on exchange floors, you need to exchange quickly to ETH then hold. For now, the safest and most stable way is to invest in BTC and ETH as these 2 cryptos currently dominate the cryptocurrency market.

Never sell your tokens when a crypto market is going down, instead take advantage of that dip and buy more tokens at that moment. Since tokens are pegged with ETH & BTC that's why the price of most tokens are affected if BTC & ETH goes down. Don't get panic if you see your tokens value are getting dropped just hold & have patience. You must accept the fact that crypto market is highly volatile & will not always remain in red it will turn green after some time.

I prefer to buy promising currencies and only in the long term. Therefore, I almost do not pay attention to the fall of the market. I expect to hold my coins for a year, maybe two. I am sure that during this time the cryptocurrency market will grow more than once and we will see new records in the cryptocurrency market.
