I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

#Datarius

It all depends on the project, if a project is really good then you'll hardly get any chance to buy at cheaper then ICO price after ICO completion. If a project is average or below average then better to buy later when it hits exchanges.

Mostly token/coin are having small value right after ICO and it will pump a month later or after three months, maybe it is because almost all bounty campaigners are dumping their reward token, so for me I prefer to buy coins during dump , but this will not happen at all the time, there are times that the ICO itself are going to sell their coins in lowest price. So I suggest to monitor and be knowledgeable for your investment.

It depends on the market condition when the token is coming out of ICO stage last few months have been very bad for the ICOS only a few of them gained momentum after ico and most of them went under the ICO price. so make sure you observe the market condition before investing.

It really depends on the project itself whether it will be successful or not. If it will become successful in the future then I think it is better to buy the tokens during the ICO because usually the price is cheaper and there are a lot of bonus when you buy early. But if its not so successful but you still support the project, I think its better to buy in the exchanges because its price will surely drop.

when ico still a live, you can get more coin when you bought it. though, when it the first week. there are many ico provide high bonus at the first week when they purchase. and the unexpected is when you take much that token, than when the market release but the value is under the ico's value it mean you loss some money. so, when you want to buy at ico, just try to get the best ico ever. so you have profit when the market is on.

Lately it seems better to buy once the tokens hit the market because they often dip (or crash) right out of the gate. Seems kind of slow for icos lately.

Usually, if this is a promising and good project, then the coin immediately grows in price 2 or more times.  It is better to participate in the ICO.

It seems to me better to find a good ICO and participate in it.  Then there will be more profit.

In my opinion, buying during ICO is preferred. You never would know in advance how the project will turn out or how the market would receive such project. We can only speculate and prepare.

Buying during the ICO,will give you advantage of buying with bonus. If the ICO is promising then when your coins or token grows in Price you will make more profit.

If you do not want to take risks and participate in the ICO, you can buy coins after you enter the exchange.

That's a good question.  I think if buying coins on the exchange, it's less risky than participating in the ICO.

If the project is good, then its price will not be less than the price specified at least at the beginning of the ICO. But unfortunately, practice suggests that most ICO are cheap.

I prefer to buy when the project hit the exchanges, because most of the time the prices are a lot better. In a very, very rare occasions if I think that all token will be sold, I may invest in the ICO.

I prefer to buy a token have potential to gives us more profit during ico time. Invest in a long term and exchage afterwards many investors do this kind of process less % to buy more gain to exchange.

If price is go down after the ICO, for me it's not a good sign maybe it's not that good project if the price go down it's not necessarily true but I'm beginning to think that way

I think it depends on projects of the ICOs, if it is has good goal and well-design to rach. Of course the coins will be good both during the ICO or on market. However, the price of the coins mostly are down when the ICO ends. Additionally when the bounty hunters have received the reward or tokens of their works, so it is probably the best time to buy coins. It will take long time the get raised the price of certain tokens after the tokens distributed.

Actually, such problems have some preconditions. That is, look at the environment at that time. If the market environment was relatively good at that time, then investment in the market would be better. If the environment was not good at the time, then suggestions were made. Invest more in ico, waiting for the advent of the bull market.

With the high increase of ico's nowadays it is normal for investors to not directly invest during the campaign and they would rather wait in the market. For me it depends on how promising and if the project has potential at all. A lot of investors invest on ico's that are promising, has a good concept and well planned.
