When trading in the market, these risks are minimized, but the level of income also falls and when you enter the project at the ico stage, you have the opportunity to receive a bonus.

Now I do not want to invest in ICOs, because this industry has become very dangerous. The prices for tokens after ICOs are going down rapidly.

This is true, but we have to find a way to support the ICO industry, because if it dies, than the whole crypto is in jeopardy. I hope that everything will be better when the market recover, but until then it is going to be difficult.

Some ICOs could improve somebody to win since they are endeavoring to entrance their clients with advancement. Subsequently, they marked down their coins esteems for their first come patronizers, and the estimations of these coins may rise glaringly after the ICO. Thus, acquiring great returns amid ICOs that are strikingly great is achievable.

I think it's better to buy when they are on exchanges and price get down to lower than ICO because most new coins are available on exchange at a lower price than ICO.

At the moment it is better to buy coins on the market.  This is less risky and very often the price of a coin on the market after the end of the ICO is much lower.

Depends on project. If it is really good, then why not invest during the ico. But for investment, you need a detailed study of the project.

but even though the price of tokens is cheaper when on the market than at IIC, there are also many investors who buy tokens at IO, and when I ask my friend who is not an investor, he also says he gets a good profit from investing in IO , somehow the investment works in ico because actually I also don't understand about investing in ico, because i am not interested in ico investment especially now many ico are scam.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

The best way to buy is, buy some in ICO, and some after ICO in the exchanges, especially the DEX exchange usually cheaper.
Be careful when you not buying in ICO, it may not achieving soft cap.

In my opinion, it depends on the situation. but I think it's better to buy tokens during ICO or pre ICO because they give discounts and with this discount you have lots of benefits in the near future even if you sell directly after completing an ICO project you can still get with the discounts you get from buying tokens. ICO projects that have very good fundamentals will have a greater chance of success. If everyone stabs, buying at ICO is the best choice.

With Menlo Ones launch in a few months, I think it would be profitable and less risky to invest in ICOs. I checked their whitepaper https://www.menlo.one/ and found this project very much convincing.

when the coin enters the henge market you are sure of its reliability or at least more probable of it's lasting whereas in the ICO participation  there is an 80 percent chance that it will be a scheme according to this statistic is less risky to take part in the market

this is true, some ICOs might seem legit especially if we base its value only on its whitepaper. it is much easier to  wait for price action after the ICO stage, but the gains might not be as great, considering that we chose a good project. With Menlo One, an ICO marketplace project, this might all change if their team can pull it off. It is a decentralized ICO listing and rating platform which rewards honest reviews and penalizes false ones.. imo, this project will be a huge hit...

'm forced to give the answer I hate to hear: It depends. The ICO or initial coin offering is very difficult to valuate. If you get a good one you can do rather well.

Unfortunately it's rather difficult to pick winners while buying coin in the vanguard of an emerging nascent technology.

It's also a notoriously scam laden field and it can be difficult, even among those who consider themselves crypto-saavy, to discern the out and out fakes from the contenders.

Well from a personal level I would prefer to buy during I.c.o than to buy during market because you would be able to buy at the ico price rather than buy during market where most time its price goes above the ico price

Investing in ICO is more risky than investing in an already working project. But when investing in ICO you get 30%, 50% or even 100% bonus

If the token is of good quality, it will go up. So it should be bought at ICO. Of course, even good tokens can go down in line with a general market down turn that nobody can avoid.

I have been recently following Stellar that is generally on the rise and the tokens issued on the Stellar platform, the new, upcoming ICOs - now there is a bump like in any cryptocurrency over the past few days, but generally Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing and other advances. This will also boost tokens issued on the Stellar platform...

My most recent find among alts is AXU, "Argentas Exchange Unit" token issued on the Stellar platform and listed and verified on the Stellarport decentralized exchange, now only at its pre-distribution, or pre-ICO phase. A true hidden diamond, with low profile so far. Experienced people clearly, and cool tech for decentralizing and revolutionizing global banking - their website at argentas.io.

The pre-ICO price is 50% cheaper than the ICO price, a sure winner IMO, and I will certainly get some. They also have an ANN thread, I think here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4431900.0. I dug really deep in their content, and it is really cool stuff Grin But don’t forget your own research!

It's better to buy after the ICO when it's already on the open market, because you can fetch it in a better price and it spares your money from months of lock-ups. But you have to do your own more researches about the project. Know the reason of dumping. It might not necessarily the bounty hunters. It could also be the early birds who have purchased during the ICO with huge bonuses. And what's worst if it's the devs that are dumping on you. You might end up with worthless asset you purchased at a massively inflated price.

While I would invest my investments in the market. He now earned normally. And you can win on this for yourself. How to successfully invest. And earn. And then think about the bounty.

I will say for both. It depends on the period that you choose the invest. if you look to invest in private and presales, then it may be helpful but in crowdsales, it has become a norm to lose your money, I mean less than the price you bought the token.
