This team has a great combination of people who have expertise in their field of work. Aside from that, the fact that they already have experience as a team from past projects will make this new project more innovative.
They are already selling tokens now before the ICO, do they badly need fundings?

Hello, as noted in the whitepaper, funds are primarily for the development and the global expansion of the platform.

The key expenses to be met with the funds collected are given below:
● Opiria platform development: technical development of the platform
● Opiria platform global expansion: Enter new markets, found local subsidiaries, acquire existing
local companies
● Grow consumer database: Acquisition of panel companies, initial compensation for signing up,
marketing activities

Whitepaper pg 67:  https://opiria.io/static/docs/Opiria-PDATA-Whitepaper.pdf

I am not an expert but, for what i know,i think data transfer is not such a huge price to pay

It should be,lol. You are selling personal data, which cannot be obtained so easily, only if someone is sharing their personal life experiences.

In order for someone to sell something valuable, it has to be personal, hence the payment should be a bit higher when you are dealing with personal information. I think this " branch " is not capable to raise their costs in order for the information to be higher also. Too many are selling information,it's not so easy to keep a price at a high rate.

What if personal data becomes more valuable in 5-10years?
There could be something not yet invented... The market is still fairly young along with cryptos.

Initially, I doubt any single users personal data would be worth anything.
But suppose data farms pool users data? - kind of like bitcoin mining. Where each single user can benefit from the overall pool rewards.

I think there can be serious potential here. But definetly some serious work ahead  Wink

Hey Mr Ease,

The value of the personal data is ultimately determined by the market forces of supply and demand. If the company sets the budget to low and no consumers accept the offer, they will have to increase it.

Aren't chineese people banned from participating in icos?
Well, yes, they are banned from participating in ICO's but, hopefully, this is just a temporary measure until The People's Bank of China find a way to regulate these markets. Of course there are always ways around bans and sanctions...

The only way I see around it is if the government softens these sanctions and residents of that region can participate in those ICOS or if a particular ICO project also doesn't place restrictions on regions which can participate in its tokensale.

Is that even a question? "Do they badly need fundings" of course they need fondings, who dosen't? Smiley
That's a good question, regarding their need of fundings, and it looks to be true, but we can all assume that it has a simple goal:
to make the project function at a better rate and to improve all the hard work that has been done.
Yes Masul, I think you are right! You need foundlings to improve the project you are working on. Let's say you've opened a bar. Will you stop investing money? You think that the business will now go by itself?

The reason why Pered said that is that the rate at which these ICOs perpetually sap investors fraudulently is becoming alarming especially when you don't do due diligence to ask questions and conduct in-depth research into project to invest.

Of course it's would be worth a lot because it helps these companies get specific and higher quality personal data - giving them the tools they need to make much more informed and thus more financially secure decisions when designing new innovative products and services, with better targeted marketing and sales activities.

Also an important advantage Opiria has over today’s traditional data brokers is that Opiria and PDATA token enable companies to gather directly from consumers.

Which is good because this actually leads to the possibility of acquiring very specific pieces of personal data that are not otherwise available today from data brokers.

Public sale starts in about a day, and I think the project is already off to a good start with the amount raised in private sale, I envisage more success in its ICO.

I agree with your opinion because the platform would enable consumers to create a passive income stream by monetizing their personal data.

Hello there,

We will be listed on exchanges roughly 30 days after token sale event, however, the specifics of where and when are not yet available. Do stay tuned for updates on the specific exchanges.
