You should always keep backups just in case something goes wrong. No, you won't lose your coins. You may need to reindex if you opened the old wallet after the fork (reindex.bat in the tools folder of the zip file).

C-CEX.com exchange has issues with updating their wallet:
https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX/status/1016363826344812549

Unfortunately it seems they are not able or willing to correct their mistake, they are still in "vacation" mode  Sad

As I understand, C-Cex seem to be "one man show", so when owner goes on vacation, exchange doesn't work.
I really don't see reason why would anyone use it.

VERY VERY GOOD EXPLANATION !

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Or just use the Android Wallet that updates itself automatically so you dont have to do anything:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btczcom.btcz&hl=en_US

The Android wallet uses a server, and yes the server is centrally controlled but you have full 100% control over your coins within the Android app. The reason for the server is to have the full block chain so you dont have to have it on your phone and it works super fast by having the server do the hard lifting. The server knows nothing about the wallets but does sync with block chain and provide fast access to your coins and deals with node connectivity etc so you don't have to. If the server ever goes down for ever (which we dont expect it ever will), you don't see your coin in the wallet's user interface but your coins are still safe and yours and you and only you can transfer them from the android wallet to a PC wallet if that ever happens. Think of it as uploading an encrypted file on Google Drive. Yes Google has the file but they cant decrypt it, they will just host it for you for free. Those devs running the server - for free and for our community - are only doing it so you can use the super fast android wallet for free. Its a fork of Bitpay which charges a lot of fees for doing the same on BTC network. The BTCz devs have no control over your coins. Your private keys are inside the android app inside your android phone in form of a 12 word passphrase. There are offline convertors that convert those 12 words to old fashion private keys which you can import to a PC wallet if ever need to for any reason, without transferring your coins to a new address.

You stole from everybody who has been donating to this project. Please move on. We don't need you here. Neither you nor your work.
If I stole it then you can submit claim to YT. Nothing is holding you back. Without documents, people calling me a thief are just small brain dogs, attacking people with other views on the case.
Reading is half of the success. You also have to understand. I'd suggest this to you. I replied to these false accusations before. wont do it again.
video is available. It is only bad will of your so-called leader that they rip you off using it,

I would add it's more on "vacation" mode than working normally. BTW, last year BTCZ community had to pay 4 BTC to person (I wouldn't name it) which self-initiatively paid C-Cex for listing while many were against listing there. We see now those BTC's were spent unwisely ...

So ccex is a scam and stay away.

Leave old block chain on CCEX.

Old Block Chain is Active!

Use old block chain for finance new block chain.

Here is exchange to pump and dump coins off old block chain.  Dev fee old block chain.

I stopped mining BTCZ months ago.  I still have baggies of BTCZ coins.  Old and new block chains.

Question: What will happen to Old Block Chain?  WHO CONTROLS OLD BLOCK CHAIN NOW AND WHAT ARE FUTURE PLANS FOR OLD BLOCK CHAIN?

4 BTC for CCEX?  Some become juice (grease) coins.  Big smiles from beyond.

CCEX not updating from old chain.  Look at tweets.

https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX/status/1016363826344812549

Proposal old blockchain koins name BZEdge.  It sound pretty good.

Names for old coins on old blockchain:

1.  BZEdge
2.  PBTCZ  P is for promo.  P should be Pimp.
3.  HBTCZ  H stands for Hodl.  I drop last two letters.
4.  Others follow.

I do not know how was the original deal with C-CEX before they listed BTCZ, but actually it seems they do not want to provide the exchange service for what we have paid 4 BTC. Was this fee paid only for listing or also to guarantee the right service?

Not willing to update to the new Zhash algo based BTCZ and wallet means that they intentionally suspend to accept BTCZ.
If this is the case probably we should ask back our money and delist from C-CEX.

"cryptorex: No they’re not kidding  - they did the same shit for winter break and it can really fuck a project up.  This exchange is pure shit.  Thankfully we have many many more since winter of 2017"

everyone who does something against you guys is a scam and thief..... Id rather say that its your fault that you did not plan changing the algorithm and did not check the agreement with c-cex. I think C-CEX has a point in contract that is obliging them to make one algo. After change they want next 4 BTC. It's natural. I would rather see ideas on how to adjust to this rather than calling the biggest exchange that this coin is listed at - a scam... With all respect but this is not how mature people run business guys. You just close every door this way. It is just sad to see this project being hurt by such bad management.

What do you mean on this?
"I would rather see ideas on how to adjust to this rather than calling the biggest exchange that this coin is listed at - a scam..."

Are you kidding us?
C-CEX is far not the largest exchange where BitcoinZ is listed. Its 24 hour volume was only 144 USD: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoinz/#markets

Hi,

I have a couple of issues with btcz transactions.

1.     I tried to send a btcz amount from a Windows wallet to an Android wallet. It showed that the transaction was successful but the amount is not showing in the Android wallet.

In block explorer, the receiving  address does not show that  an amount has been sent to it.

2. Samething with a transaction between 2 Android wallets. The receiving address (wallet) is not being credited with the amount that has been sent to it.

Also the same as above in block explorer. The receiving address is not updated with the amount.

This has never happened before. Until not long ago the transactions would show up without any problems within seconds.

What is going on with the btcz network and wallets ?

Can someone help ?
Thank you.
