Why do people have no faith in ICO's?

ICOs are cool if you know what you are doing, if not they will be your worst nightmare and will suck all your investment into the wrong hands and projects. And yes, is easy to be scammed.

People who have no faith in ICOs have probably been scammed before. There are some good projects out there who are serious about their project. What most people who participate in ICOs refuse to do is they do not research enough about the project. They do not consider the feasibility of the project and do not analyse the website to predict the future.

Everyone loves reliability, therefore, at the slightest suspicion, they blame the project for weakness or fraud. This is due to the fact that people are afraid to lose their money when investing in an unsuccessful project.

Remember Everyone that blockchain ICOS are a var new concept to many, so until people are seasoned investors and they get used to choosing the creme de la creme of ICOS, it might seem a little daunting, especially for newcomers. Also it is so much easier to invest in an ICO than it is in traditional investments, so people are  confused about the plethora of ICOS they see randomly popping up, so the feel overwhelmed and discouraged. I also think that the negative press hasn't helped, countries banning ICOS and also some hackers and scammers in the mix, all have made this ICO sector a very difficult place for many people to trust and park their hard earned money.

Of course be afraid of losing your money. It's a normal feeling. I think there are no people who would not be afraid to lose money. No matter how much money they have.

I didn't really notice people stop believing in ICOs. Usually many are supported because they are the way you can get Bitcoin, but of course it can exist some doubts about them and this is completely understandable considering how many people have been fooled by certain projects that were scams.Maybe that's the problem, or maybe simple ways to earn BTC have been discovered.

unfortunately, because of some scam ICOs have some distrust  in that industry and aslo don't forget that a big percentage  of  the participants are sadly only in it for profit..., i cannot deny that there is a lot of legit ICOs with a great product that could benefit the crypto market and the community and i think that what should we focus on not anything else

First of all, earning money in ico is very long.
You have to have a lot of patience if you want to earn.
The duration of every project depends on how many week until it end.
And people tend to doubt ico because you have to wait for months before getting what you earned.
And there are many scammers out there.
They may be afraid of that.

Because there are just way too many ICOs projects in the market right now, and the developers who are making use of ICOs projects to scam investors money have definitely caused investors to take a more safety approach when investing into new ICOs projects.

People have no patience to wait for results from the project in which investments are made during the ICO. It is necessary to understand that investing in ICO is a long-term process and only after a while it will be possible to judge about the success or failure of the project.

maybe because a lot of people think that there are a lot of scam or fake ICOs, and it's a big risk for anyone to join one not knowing if it's fake or legit. They're just trying to play safe.

This is because once a person gets burned with a  project, he starts seeing similar projects with same opinion. Most of the fraud projects are harming genuine ICOs as well .

People doesn't believe in ICO because only 10% of all projects are really succesfull. Just some time before I have read some information about it. It must be some kind of service for ICO investors where it will be possible to find to find right project.

People have no faith in ICO's because they think that almost all of the ICO's are scam and not legit. That is why the number of investors are decreasing.

Hi, One can`t disagree that ICO attracts a lot of scammers: Because there is so little paperwork involved in ICOs it attracts many scammers who can simply create a bogus white paper and make off with a lot of money.

Hi, As for me, when you are investing in a project in an ICO you are investing in the idea of the project. You read the white paper and if you think that the team is credible and the project has promise than you invest. So, basically, you have no idea whether the project will even be successful or not. Over 90% of the startups fail and blockchain projects are not immune to that as well.
