Why do people buy high and sell low

Normally great investors look for the prices to buy cryptocoins and sell them when there is a hike in the crypto market which helps to earn good returns on their investment whereas there are some people who look to make money easily by investing all their  money in one single basket when the prices of the cryptocurrencies are high they will buy cryptocoins on credit and when there is a drop due to fear or panic they will sell it off.

That is why in trading there is a rule of "you have to control your emotion". You are the one of panic buying and selling. Maybe sometimes you do day trading, you just go with the flow when the whale play the coins. the pump and down and in the end your money will stock in that coins and then you decide to sell it in low price. And honestly I have been there in that situation and now I learned from it.

You are just committing the mistake of panic selling mate. Buying at high prices and selling at low is not a characteristic of a good investor.In order to earn profits you should know in which coin you should invest and what is the best price to buy and sell that coin.You get panic by noticing a dip in the price and then you think that price will fall more and you sell your coins facing huge loss.It is difficult to predict the rise and fall of any coin but still I will advise you to trust the coin in which you are investing and hold them instead of selling them at low prices.Maybe the price rises in the future and make you earn huge profits .This will be better than the regret you will have  after selling them at low prices.

I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

definitely your correct! because of some situation that people need the money , when they buy coins at high cost and they expect to sell for good price but comes the situation that the price drops so they have no choice but to sell the coins in order to fulfill their needs of emergency.

We cannot avoid if situations like this come to our lives. Yes, we often hodl and plan to sell at high prices so that there will be big profit but sometimes things just don't go how the way we plan it. Expecting that everything will go according to plan and then here comes the need for money at certain situations (where we are forced to sell even if we don't like to) is just depressing. This had also happened to me many times but instead of being sad, I enlighten myself thinking that it is sold at low prices but is used for important things or important person. It is very helpful because it tends to lighten the mood and lessen the regret.

It's because of out of fear of losing their investments. That's why it is suggested to invest only money that you can afford to lose. That way, you can just let it be and watch the prices after a few months or two if it will rise or fall and no matter the outcome you're good with it.

Trading is risky and not suitable for everyone. First lesson in trading is to protect your balance or investment amount. Second is to buy low and sell high. Emotional people doesnt respect to second rule and keep ignoring it while they lose money in volatile markets. Maybe they don't know the right timing to sell its bitcoin and thats why they sell it even if the price is low because of no choice and they buy other bitcoin with a high value because they do not have a choice to choose because when we buy a bitcoin it should be in a right timing that its price is in low to have a profit and we should not be panic if the price drops because theres a possibility that the price of it will rise again and if the price is in high we can trade it to gain big profit.

You are under that bandwagon system. You go on to things that most people are in. When the price of a coin increases, you think that people are into that coin and will gonna keep on increasing so you buy. When the price of that coin decreases, you are feeling worried that it may keep on decreasing, so you sell. In other words, you are a panic buyer and seller.

Bandwagon of weak hands in the market. I wonder why anyone would actually invest into something, and then dash other people their cash even when they have not earned what they expect to. The market is volatile and if we say there won't be huge fluctuations, then we would all be lying since it is even a new market which is decentralized, but still, some rather than being patient, panic, and give the whales more chance to keep stealing from them.

Yes i tink only the inexperienced people can do so, otherwise all the people try their best to buy at low price and then sell it at high. Some time people try go with rally and they do buying even at high price, but later on the price get a correction and start decreasing, such people get panic and then try to sell even at low price.
