Why do people buy high and sell low

While my portfolio at $5000, I told my self I will never sell my precious Utrust coin. Now that the price is dropped to almost 100% I am now half crazy panic selling everyday.

I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

this can be said with the term cutloss. it happens when we go buy at a less precise time. so cutloss is the best way to avoid more losses. and can move trades in other crypto. so it can restore the profits there

I never cut loss. Though I noticed that when a certain coin already reaches its peak, it will be hard for it to reach again its peak price. And with this market crash, we have been experiencing for almost 3 months, I am also thinking about selling at a low price just to cut my losses. But I never did, for the fact that bull run is coming. When the bull run comes, all coins are pumping.

Well when the price is high people believe that that specific coin didn't reached iet the highes point and they start to buy. when they sell cheap, they are just afraid that they will lose all the money.

It can be random, but you determine when to sell and at what price, when ever there is a rally, we expect a price to be the break out point where the correction starts and it is not always easy to determine that resistance level, but one think i do not do is to buy at a high price and let go at a lower valuation, just be careful while you invest and that is the only sensible thing you can do.

You buy high because maybe you are expecting that you can earn more profit if the price get doubled but you get disappointed because the price get lower and lower,so you decided to sell it in a low price, because you are afraid that you will gain a great loss from it.
Bitcoin price is volatile. Always monitor the market before buying or selling to avoid losses.

No it is not right bitcoin price can be known using the signature campaign and the bitcoin talk as there we use to discuss about the price of the bitcoin also we can get to know about the high and the low price of bitcoin through the market value rise and fall price of bitcoin use to increase when the market will be green and price decreased when the market will be red, so I think proper planning is required to avoid this kind of situation.

but the question is when will the market will come? we never know when it will happen, and if we allow our losses to continue this will be very risky to the income we have to meet. I suggest you must have a mature decision to cutloss and start trading other coins

actually the person who sells at that low price is the one who panics and the person who needs the money. if the person is panicked, when he knows the low price he will immediately sell his coins, because he thinks the price is going down he will lose more. when prices could rise again.
if people need money, they will sell on any condition, even if the price is low he will sell it because he needs money.
no one wants to lose by selling at a low price unless he panics and needs money.
