Good Morning ,
yes its true , there is an very high Orphan Rate right now . I checked everyting twice an there is only one Solution .
I noticed that Suprnova got high Orphans if Pool was low on Hashrate opposite NetHash. Now Suprnova Pool has lots of more Hashrate and Orphans gone .
Thats the Same here now on my Pool , low Pool Hash opposite high Nethash = Orphans . Keep in Mind that eMark is an POW/POS Coin. POS Blocks count for Orphans too.
Solution : More Hash Power is needed to equal Pools
Regards Glen
The calculator: http://whattomine.com/asicor http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency...
OK what you have to keep in mid is that those calculators do not take certain things into account, most specifically diff increase (i.e., 13M going up to 18M) and increases in the network hashrate. They are just designed to give you a ballpark. When you combine that with the insane orphan rate, lately, you get the "loss" you're seeing.
The difficulty is very similar (dynamic but within a 7%+/-) on both the calculators (13.2 mil on whattomine and 13.5 mil on coinwarz) and the pools figure (13.5 mil) on Network difficulty. My experience with these calculators over the past 8 months has proven these tools are rather reliable. There's too great a variance at 75%. The orphan blocks is something I wasn't aware of but in doing more research on it, it appears that eMark experience 22-35% orphaned blocks. That's an opportunity loss on 22-35% of blocks. Still doesn't make a 75% difference. But pool efficiency is one question that I was posing as that is a mitigating factor as well. I'm sure this sounds argumentative and it's not intended to be. Trying to understand the variance.

Yed. PoS/PoW. I forgot this about DEM. Thank you. That makes a bit more sense and orphan blocks are labeled as such even though they are PoS. I'd add more s9's to the pool, but it might make more sense to solo mine if I do this. Thank you Glen and ComputerGenie.

I think you might see how that could be the issue you're experiencing. Edited for example from today.

Are you saying that PoS bocks are getting orphaned or producing the orphans? If it's the former, that seems like a fundamental flaw to me.

The most orphan Blocks come from POS. I have change in the last Hardfork the timedrift to 15 seconds to prevent a fork from the Blockchain. But many user did not synchronize their PC time. And then they mining many ophan blocks.

At the rate that this coin routinely dumps multiple valid blocks, I can't see how it could ever be a viable currency. Imagine trying to purchase something with eMark and you get told: Your transaction has been validated... Wait, your transaction is no longer validated... Wait, your transaction has been validated (with 2 confirmations)... Wait, your transaction is no longer validated... Wait, your transaction has been validated (with 3 confirmations)... Wait, your transaction is no longer validated... Wait, your transaction has been validated (with 2 confirmations)... Wait, your transaction is no longer validated... I'm not currently trying to purchase anything, I'm talking about the long-term usage of the coin. It's somewhat moot at the current point, when there are more blocks per day than transactions; however, if at a future point there are more transactions than fit into a single block, that's a possibility of what one might experience. As for specific reference to the amount of block dumps: ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED SetBestChain: new best=3ee2bd2792208d94dcfe77e5d08a19a29c2840c9a39be88ba3ac914d412afabd height=1282358 trust=5784648408497535028424 blocktrust=3092563272725 date=06/05/17 13:46:56 ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED SetBestChain: new best=1ab95a7cf23c35f5ba6ec8b1205a00dbc4b7e2f9c718d5ae8021138ace7f63d0 height=1282359 trust=5784648411637010385440 blocktrust=3139475357016 date=06/05/17 13:47:12 ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED REORGANIZE REORGANIZE: Disconnect 3 blocks; 000000000000001e79ebaa9fa9c22738e0033e03bddd5881404b145f048289ef..1ab95a7cf23c35f5ba6ec8b1205a00dbc4b7e2f9c718d5ae8021138ace7f63d0 REORGANIZE: Connect 1 blocks; 000000000000001e79ebaa9fa9c22738e0033e03bddd5881404b145f048289ef..00000000000000841886605279d7f58abc081c217e8b1090384f8fa5f7b9e7fc REORGANIZE: done SetBestChain: new best=00000000000000841886605279d7f58abc081c217e8b1090384f8fa5f7b9e7fc height=1282357 trust=5784708422796399995006 blocktrust=60020672388688788 date=06/05/17 13:45:31 ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED REORGANIZE REORGANIZE: Disconnect 1 blocks; 000000000000001e79ebaa9fa9c22738e0033e03bddd5881404b145f048289ef..00000000000000841886605279d7f58abc081c217e8b1090384f8fa5f7b9e7fc REORGANIZE: Connect 4 blocks; 000000000000001e79ebaa9fa9c22738e0033e03bddd5881404b145f048289ef..00000000000000ff13274960e691c8b42bab3bb82898e3a009833f9e24530879 REORGANIZE: done SetBestChain: new best=00000000000000ff13274960e691c8b42bab3bb82898e3a009833f9e24530879 height=1282360 trust=5784708432309399074228 blocktrust=60020672388688788 date=06/05/17 13:47:13

Any number of validated transactions could become invalidated and dumped back into the mempool (especially when 4 blocks get dumped for 1).

Important to be running NTP (Network Time Protocol) ...
Do that and you end up with: ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool : nonstandard transaction: time-too-new

mhmhm what about
try and error ?
you can delete the peers.dat on your System to rescan Nodes.
it seems eventually that your Nodes make crazy Things . cause all Transactions , Pools and Exchanges works as the expected .
I know this has to be only an option , but try out. And YES you are right we took a closer Look to that . Just working on Wallet 1.4.2 for further addons like Android ( jepp worked :-) , but not finished ) and RFID/NFC
Regards Glen

Dumping peers.dat and rebuilding does seem to have fixed the time issue.EDIT: Spoke too soon... ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool : nonstandard transaction: time-too-new ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool : nonstandard transaction: time-too-new ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool : nonstandard transaction: time-too-new ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool : nonstandard transaction: time-too-new Now if it didn't all defy logic and dump chains of 4 blocks for 1 or 2.....

Hi, Having some issues with the wallet for mac. I have mined on various pools, hit blocks but no payout to my dem wallet. If I use same pools and a yobit exchange generated wallet I get paid out but not the 50 per block expected, one or two shared blocks I expect yes, but 170 dem for 9 blocks found while I slept?
Any ideas what I haven't done or am doing wrong?
If not anybody point me at an in depth guide for solo-mining with ant miner s9, all seem a little light, especially when using mac and external blockchain for thing like btc, ltc etc
