Hi,
for 4 days i have only orphan blocks 'mining' with my wallet (staking). I'am using wallet 1.3.2 (28 orphan stakes) Since yesterday i'am using the old wallet again (1.1.0-oro) and everything works smooth (no orphans and till now 5 new stakes)
Something is wrong with the new wallet.
Have a nice weekend

Is the dev still active? There seems to be a serious network issue affecting people sending coins. Cryptopia has had to put the wallet into maintenance as users transactions are never arriving and getting stuck in orphaned blocks. http://blockexplorer.deutsche-emark.org/If not resolved we will need to delist DEM. Thnaks

There is def a problem with the network. I mined ~3k DEM yesterday @ ispace.co.uk. I checked the block explorer and the blocks the transactions were in were confirmed yesterday. Now I just loaded my wallet (tried both v1.1 and v1.3) and no transactions listed. When I check the block explorer it shows the transactions and the balance with the 3k added but my wallet is fully sync'd and shows only 1 incoming transaction the other 4 were orphaned. In the block explorer if you look at the blocks they are now all orphaned except for the one. Anyone else having this problem I thought that if you sent coins and the transaction ended up in an orphaned block it would clear itself from the mempool and could be resent. To the devs, is there currently an attack on the network ? are there any type of updates or fixes you guys are currently working on ? Please communicate what you know up to this point with us even if its a simple "we are not sure still looking into it" just something to put our minds at ease about the situation. I can give you the block #'s and my DEM address via PM so you can see what i'm talking about. UPDATE: My wallet was forked had to redownload the blockchain funny enough coinz.at went down yesterday for maintenance and today ispace.co.uk is down for maintenancetoday. Wallet fully sync now but the problem remains only 1 of the 5 transactions went into my wallet. When i check the blocks we solved on ispace yesterday most/all of them were orphaned so im guessing they are taking a loss on coins that were withdrawn on orphaned blocks. I'm curious what version are the pools using for mining ?

Is there an active eMark testnet ? I am willing to setup a node or two long term for an eMark testnetwork. This way we can test if new versions are compatible with old versions before mainstream release. @Rumhocker Were you testing a new wallet ? if yes were you mining with it ?

We dont have an active testnet all the time. We setup one if we need one. Last 1.4 test was verry good, but without 1.1 node. If we Test an new wallet, gcgc make a test pool. Im in hollyday this week. I think the other member from Dev-Team work on the iOS wallet.

Thank you for replying if you need tester for future wallets or nodes pm me. Ok, you guys are morons. You read bullshit into something and miss the point because you're too busy trolling. Too many kids and not enough professionalism. I'm happy to take my leave. Enjoy.
Please be a bit more polite to people you do not know, i tend to get a bit angry about people who are insulting others without reason. It's all your own fault, not the fault of the community. If you want to make money you are welcome to do so, but please stop annoying my inetligence with your meaningless accusations @elrippo you posted the above in a different thread. Perhaps you should follow your own advice. Yes eMark having some issues but no need to come in and talk nonsense.

i'am sorry but you will not get your pos-reward just opening your wallet after one year. You will only get pos-reward if yor wallet is open and you are staking. If your wallet is closed it is not participating at the network and no transaction are possible. Imagine a only Pos-coin and all wallets are closed and not staking....the network would be dead. Here you can find a nice explanation (sorry only in german) http://forum.deutsche-emark.de/printthread.php?tid=330Have a nice weekend

Even if it was like you said, I wouldn't even receive one DEM today after almost a year. Moreover, what you describe is PoSP (Proof of Stake Participation) and not PoS http://www.bitcointalkradio.com/bitcoin-alternative-crypto-bullion-cbx-announces-unprecedented-posp-proof-of-stake-participation-algorithm/

Hi, did you read http://forum.deutsche-emark.de/printthread.php?tid=330If it is not your native language just use google translator. schnipp ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Coin age based selection Peercoin's proof-of-stake system combines randomization with the concept of "coin age," a number derived from the product of the number of coins times the number of days the coins have been held. Coins that have been unspent for at least 30 days begin competing for the next block. Older and larger sets of coins have a greater probability of signing the next block. However, once a stake of coins has been used to sign a block, they must start over with zero "coin age" and thus wait at least 30 more days before signing another block. Also, the probability of finding the next block reaches a maximum after 90 days in order to prevent very old or very large collections of stakes from dominating the blockchain.[2][7][8] This process secures the network and gradually produces new coins over time without consuming significant computational power.[9] Peercoin's developer claims that this makes a malicious attack on the network more difficult due to the lack of a need for centralized mining pools and the fact that purchasing more than half of the coins is likely more costly than acquiring 51% of proof-of-work hashing power . ----------------------------------------------- schnapp zitat------------------ I have a lot of PoS coins and this is exactly how they are working and they are giving coins without leaving the wallets open. ---------------------- How will you get coins if your wallet is not open ?? at the moment your wallet is open your held coins a 'fighting' for the next Pos-block....the more and the aged they are the faster you will get pos-rewards...........that is all imho Dem is working like peercoin (in the pos part) ................................ at your wallet you can see the coins that have get pos-reward (in the column stake) the rest is still 'fighting for pos reward' i think if you leave your wallet open for a couple of hours you will get your 3.8% stake !!
