Dogecoin community raised $30,000 for the Jamaican bobsled team to go to the Olympics:

This gains popularity.

Perphaps something similar can be done with DEM, but more Germany/Austria/Switzerland oriented ??

DOGE has 200x the market cap of DEM, good luck. That's because people do things with DOGE other than just mine it.

Hey guys, my first post in here)
Well, I've got Bitbox I 500Gh/s++ that mines me BTC. But I tired of it after all these long months. Is it possible to reprogram it for mining DEMs?

hi, I don´t have a experience with this device, but as I read at them sites, this device has bitfury chips on the boards, as any asic is able to mine any SHA-256 coin. As I said I don´t know this device, so im not sure about an interface what you are using for setting it. But you could just register to some DEM-pool and then change your setting, im sure that will work.

Because nobody is actually doing things with the coin other than mining and dumping.

I haven't seen one merchant take it on yet, unless it's in the German thread.

You need merchants to create demand for a coin. Paying for ASIC hardware in BTC has helped raise the price of BTC. DEM needs the same kind of thing.

here is how guys are prepared with  LottoCoin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=368153.0

i think we need more people to help develop like:

mobile wallet
eDEM accepted here
kind of games where you can spend eDEM,...
and of course : live exchange EUR-DEM, DEM EUR (independet of bitcoins)

Bzzzum and  guys can not do everything in a normal time, so in my opinion all together more stagnant as it grows..... Cry
