Personally I do not see today any coin which could eclipse bitcoin in the near future. It seems to me that such coin was not created yet.

In terms of reliability the closest thing to bitcoin is ethereum, though it hasn't been progressing that much lately, well, bitcoin either, but it definitely put quite some fight, more than ethereum.

I think there are a lot of coins like BTC but no one can repeate bitcoin's way. I guess bitcoin will grow soon and other currencies will try to increase its level.

Yes such coins hundreds of. However, most of them are much cooler in technical terms than Bitcoin. It's obsolete, whether you want to admit it or not.

At the moment I don't see any coin able to beat bitcoin in nearest 5 years. Ethereum is potential, but ICOs sell ethereum and BTC serve as a digital gold. Less people sell it.

in my opinion there is no coin that will replace bitcoin, bitcoin is the parent of all coins, so the nature and value are different ...

All altcoins are like bitcoin because they all mimic bitcoin. If you are looking for a coin that can rise to $20,000 as much as Bitcoin, i think the biggest possibility is BCH, although o don't like it.

it's very different but I don't agree if you say bitcoin is obsolete
do you think the new coin looks cooler than bitcoin? if you see bitcoin can be impressive until now naturally not many people behind it look natural.
different from the new coins that I now see so much manipulation from dev and their big holders.

All altcoins are like bitcoin, if you talk about the technique side of the point, all of them made on the base of bitcoin Wink But I guess you meant the financial potential. Well, honestly I was expecting something similar to Bitcoin from Ethereum, but currently it is falling apart  and I really doubt that any other coin will be able to come close to bitcoin's price ever.

If there's one coin be like bitcoin within the future, it may well be thw ethereum. This coin is already famed and allmost an equivalent use like btc. Have paired in any exchange that the volume is often at the highest like btc. Their gap is simply value|the worth|the value} thus im hoping sooner or later eth can follow the btc price

There really is not coin like bitcoin. Of all the coins that are in the market now the only one that comes close to what bitcoin used to be is monero and that is because the coin is a privacy coin which offers anonymity. Bitcoin is so far ahead the other coins that there is no way to replicate such a coin. You are better off just investing in bitcoin itself instead of trying to find one like it.

Bitcoin is the first and most popular cryptocurrency of all. Not one coin, will not be able to repeat the success of bitcoin. Perhaps in the distant future, it will change, but not the fact.

I think no other coin like bitcon because bitcoin is a creator of crypto currency. It is a brand of super rich peoples and no body can take place the position of bitcoin. It is very difficult to replace its position.

Please house, I will like to know whether out of the existing altcoins anyone of them has potential to be like bitcoin in the nearest future. I will appreciate if i can know the reason why because this will greatly assis me in planning my investment strategy. Thanks.

Bitcoin will be bitcoin and nothing will replace bitcoin. Many altcoins are created in the cryptocurrency, but bitcoin still have the most value in the market.
If a new coins wants to become like bitcoin, then it will need the time for massive adoption in our society.

There are many Altcoin-like Bitcoins in technology but no altcoin is as valuable as Bitcoin! Bitcoin is always number one, (this is my own opinion)

If you are asking in terms of returns that Bitcoin has given us since the start, it is tough to find such a coin now. Because at that time there were a few people in cryptos and with adoption and hence, demand price pumped up. But you can still expect better returns than traditional investment assets like shares, stocks, property and gold. They are relatively stable market than cryptos and hence, don't give high ROI. But in cryptos it is pretty much possible but there is more risk. That is why it is called investment for millennial.
