Hello,

I received my X3 2 days ago,
I didn´t find any pool working with the X3.
Nicehash stopped support the X3,

The longer that etn drags their feet and the last bytecoin is mined the better for cn asic owners.

Maybe not. Some Monero forks seem to pick up and new pools go live, e.g. https://xmc.nitepool.com for Monero Classic. If I get the figures right, a single X3 will mine over USD 30 a day.

Seems the Bytecoin team has actually made an official announcement that ASICs WILL be supported.

I have an X3 and what I'm seeing is that NiceHash basically reports zero hashes when I point it there for several hours.

Other pools will report hashes but the Rejected Hashes outpace Accepted 10:1 even though there seems to be no problem with the machine. (And when I've pointed to the highest difficulty ports.) Either Bitmain created a horrible machine, or the pools just aren't able to take its hashrate.

I'm no stranger to mining at a loss temporarily -- those losses have generally turned into gains for me after holding long enough. But earning tiny amounts of barely worthwhile coins is not even worth the X3's low power consumption. Sad because this is probably the only modern Antminer that's actually appropriate for home use. If only it broke even. Frankly, it's not even good as a heater!

I will probably point it toward one of the Monero forks for a while before fully giving up on it. In truth, ASIC backed Monero should be every bit as secure as normal Monero and with the power of greater PoW behind it. But whether the market accepts that or not is another question.

Does anyone has the X3 fully operated? I see a few ppl who are having trouble finding the correct pools, the correct coins or having different hash rates sending to pools.

Bit curious cause it’s price is OK and ROI is around 40d

Unless you know something everyone else does not there is no way to break even in 40 days with an X3.

Little off-topic.

That's optimistic thinking, however 2-3 months ROI time is more realistic.
Given the next batch is due shipment in March and there will be an increase in difficulty.
But yes it is profitable, if you got an unit now or manage to get one before June.

Yeah i guess but i want to buy one locally and just see how far my ROI's away

If you see the comments on Youtube in this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjMQ969fmTY ) video then they say that they're mining 200-300khs on different coins. which means about 50-75usd a day

2-3 Month  ROI is very optimistic , you will earn 50$ ETN for 30 days in best case scenario , that is 50% ROI if you started mining at 1st of May .
Once ETN forks at the end of May you will be lucky if you earn 10$ per day .
All of the above without taking into consideration how many  Cryponight miners sold and shipped and not deployed yet .
You will ROI much faster if coin prices increased but then you will make better profits if you trade instead

Nitepool is at least the biggest one for XMC outside China.:-) Let us help it grow.

My PSU tracking showed up later.  They DO NOT ship them in the same box.  SUCKS, because double brokerage fees
