All you haters can hate all you want. Usually the most hated things pump the hardest.
I'm smiling mining away with my X3.  This machine is badass.  Uses very little energy and its not as loud, Quieter than an L3+ .  Start up is much quicker and quieter.  Only has a single Fan.

Perfect for the home miner since it uses the least amount of energy 500 watts.  The single fan spins at 4700 rpms at default and the chip temps is 55c.  This chip runs very cool.

Im getting 233 khash/sec

I'm currently Mining XMC on bitmain antpool . Until I find a better coin.  But as of now I will join the bitmain army and dig away.

You can mine all the shitcoins you want. But never monero

They will not come back ...

Don't underestimate the power of the dark side Asics.  Some Legit coin will utilize the mega hashing power of the X3 to secure the network better than any GPU.

...and in the meantime, nicehash is paying out just fine if you're not a fan of any of the available coins...

I ordered a second batch one since I A) need a space heater replacement for my S5, which now loses money; and B) really want to play with making it silent and using it for a greenhouse this winter or something similar...

Nicehash does not list X3 as a supported device now. They still letting X3's join the pool?  What's the payout?

I was just going by Whattomine.com, I don't have one yet. But have you tried connecting your X3 to nicehash? They may not be yet or they may just not have updated their howto...

Nicehash does not support the X3 afaik, they say that the X3 doesn't understand their server settings.

WhatToMine says that there are still a few minable coins:

Dinastycoin(DCY)
DigitalNote(XDN)
Electroneum(ETN) = forking
Bytecoin(BCN) = NOT forking soon
Karbo(KRB) = NOT forking soon
Monero Classic (XMC) = NOT forking soon (antpool)
Monero Original (XMO) = NOT forking soon

Dont know about the others, does someone else know those so i can complete this list?

I believe KRB is paying $33 a day with NO FORK planned.

Edited in the list.
Added Monero Classic (XMC) which is supported by Antpool, no calculator available for as far as i know.

They are trying to have some restrictions but this approach is late.

okay so far my x3 mining on antpool mined 1.2 XMC in 24 hours.   XMC is valued at $13 bucks so I mined about $15.60 worth on day 1 before electric.  Pretty weak sauce for day 1 and Im expecting profits will go downhill from here in the near term..  Will look for another coin or pray xmc moons in the future.  Bitcoin Cash mooned so I'm hoping the XMC does this in the future.

Checkout the coins i've mentioned a few posts back. those are the only ones who can be mined on the X3.

I tried pointing mine at nicehash and had a near 100% rejection rate. Nanopool showed ~20khs instead of 220. Suprnova has been relatively straightforward with 230-300khs after it ramps up.

Anyone had any success with any of the other pools and the x3?

Same here - nicehash not working (0 accepted shares), nanopool showed 23khs instead of 230khs.
Now Im trying antpool - looks like it works well (xmc).
What do you mine at suprnova?

Hey Guys,
we are about to write an article about how Bitmain was handling the X3 release and what followed. We would like to hear from Batch 1 and Batch 2 buyers. Your stories about the refund that you were promised. Have you received it? What were you promised? And what is the reality?

Thanks,

Kris from CoinWatch

Yes bitmain will eat all the steaks making $300 a day. After they are done they feed you the scraps making $14 a day on day 1 and rapid decline in earnings. in 6 months electric will cost more and roi on machine may not happen. I will have to report a loss on taxes to help burden the cost of this expensive machine.

Bitmain used to treat their customers better but now they treat you like dogs.  Batch 1 and 4 I believe was just only a 1 week difference in ship time. I got the batch 4 order and recieved it a couple of days ago.

I tried minergate.com as well and was getting super low hash rates on XMO and XDN.

Anyone out there interested in standing up an XDN pool that can support the X3?

For XDN I found the following calculation of USD 55/day: https://whattomine.com/coins/104-xdn-cryptonight?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=220.0&p=140.0&fee=0.0&cost=0.1&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

I heard of a team that might be interested in setting up a pool for ASICs if some miners are interested.

If there are people joining it-- it may be worth while. Assuming they are not feeing people to death or anything crazy. Every XDN pool I see is down. I guess with the exception of minergate which i'll pass on.

etn

It seems people are realizing suprnova works on the x3 and the pool hash rate is rising a bit finally.

12k isnt the price, its around 2000/2500 usd

Why will it be a doorstep in 3 weeks? A few alt-coins already said that they wont be forking soon.
