No we dont convert to Euro, we use Euro in the rules so that we have a stable point to reference.  All accounts can bet in 4 cryto's, you can switch between currencies in a single account.

Max bet for the moment is rather small, we are doing that to get a feel for the crypto space.  We will take odds to BTC .05 at the moment (this will increase over the coming months).

Well it is nice for a sportsbook to accept multiple different cryptocurrencies since directbet.eu left the scene early last year.
That was the only place which I knew who took ethereuem and litecoin for their bets.
As I have tried several others like betcoin.ag and do not like their support's track record which in my eyes is non-exitant.

Thanks for the heads up, we're going to write up an FAQ later today and get it to you guys ASAP.
Deposits should be credited almost instantly. Withdrawals can take anywhere from instant to a couple hours.
No KYC is required from us currently. Depending on circumstances we may have KYC for withdrawals over 1btc.

My apologies.
Minimum bet is .5 of whatever currency you're using.
Minimum deposit is 5 units of whatever you're using (mBTC, Finney etc.)
No minimum withdrawal but any under 5mBTC you will pay the fees on.

We do have hkjc racing. Both Sha Tin and Happy Valley.
Currently as stated in the OP, we're only offering Win, Place, Each Way. We're looking to add exotics over the next few days/weeks. We'll be adding bets such trifectas, doubles, first four etc.

We have had a couple of users wondering why when they change currencies the site refreshes to the homepage.  We do this so that there will be no confusion as to the currency they are using whilst placing the bet.  We wouldn't want someone thinking that they were betting in LTC when they were actually betting in BTC. 

We know that it may appear inconvenient when you are trying to get a bet on, but we plan to keep this feature to ensure that people are confident that they know what currency they are betting in.

In terms of racing it's easy enough for us to link up streaming - but with sports it's hard to legally do it without paying a massive sum. As we're just a small group of guys we're much more focused on bringing you guys a quality product through more markets and new betting opportunities just like we've done with racing! I think you should give racing a chance (why not try out our risk free bet!), it's pretty entertaining to watch and easy to keep on a roll as when one race finishes another's starting up.

Radio streaming can be done, but I doubt that's what you're looking for. We have radio streams already linked up to our racing if you want to check that out.

In terms of betfair, I highly suggest you look at our racing events when they're close to jumping. You'll find we're more than competitive with the pricing. I can't speak for betfair without my vpn on but I can tell you for that race that just jumped at Kenilworth we were 121% compared to 125% lowest I could find elsewhere.

Our trading model has a somewhat different approach when it comes to Horse Racing trading. Whereas UK markets usually stay at the same percentage the whole time from creation to the jump, we will start our margin wider and move our margins in as the money starts to move.

My internet connection is pretty fast, i get a speed of 15 mbps could you share with me what browser you used , i was using chrome maybe chrome might be the reason for site loading slowly for me.

there are many people who are willing to bet on horses with bitcoin , but you need to at least be competitive with Fairlay that offers racing but with low liquidity

To explain a few things.  Betfair is an exchange which is very different to a bookmaker.  I will try and lay it out so that you can understand the difference.

Firstly I will explain betfairs commission structure: Depending on where you are in the world betfair charges between 5% and 10% commission so you have to work this into the price.  So if you win $100 then betfair will take between $5 and $10, that means you DONT win $100 you win $95 or $90.  So in short the odds you are seeing are not the odds that you receive.

Next is the liquidity.  The race that you are showing has the ability for you to have $44 on a 1.72 shot.  That is odds to win $31.68 or $30.09 after commissions, or $9 on the second favourite.  If you would try to have say $100 on that horse or if many people try to have $10 on that horse you will end up getting odds far below what you are seeing.

I will agree that yes perhaps we were a little wide on the percentage on the race you have quoted, but then I have included screen-grabs from the next at Delaware (race 5) to show that we are in fact offering better odds in this market than betfair.

In this case we are 2.20  the favourite and they are 2.04.  The second favourite we are 6.5 and they are 5.8

So in short, yes you may be able to find a race that we are not competitive ( we have more than 200,000 races per year ), there could be many reasons for this.  We don't like the market, the conditions are changing mid meeting, there may be jockey changes that we are assessing, there has been a lot of scratchings and we haven't adjusted the margin fast enough or simple human error.  But I am sure that we are very competitive in most markets!

Best odds guaranteed is from my understanding only used on SP/Tote products - in that case we won't be using it as at the moment the clear majority of our markets we're only offering Fixed Pricing.

There are several incarnations of this depending on the country that you are in.

UK has best price guarantee that works like this:

If you take 3/1 and your selection wins at 4/1, we'll settle your bet at 4/1. If your selection wins at 2/1, you'll get paid out at 3/1.

Australia has two versions BOB (Best of the Best) and Best Tote or SP:

BOB;  Best of the best is the highest odds paid of the three main Australian totes or TopFluc. BOB betting will be available up to 35 minutes before a race. Only used on selected events.

Best Tote or SP;  Best Tote + SP is the highest odds paid of the three main Australian totes OR the final fixed price offered by us. Place component of each way bets is paid at Best Tote only. This bet type will be available on selected meetings.

There is another version that was used in some markets that was called "TOP FLUC" you don't see this much any more as it was suicide for the bookmaker.

I hope that fills you in and the short answer is "no we wont be doing it"  the reason being that in a fiat book the bookmakers can limit you to the amount that you can have on this product, in the crypto world thats not possible.

thank you for responding , no I didn't say that this has happened with me before but I stayed in live chat for around 5 minutes and assumed that no one is there ( in other sites that have live support they either respond immediately or they don't which means no one is available )
the reason I didn't stay longer is that for some reason your live chat doesn't work for people in Syria , so everytime I need to contact you I have to turn on VPN and change my country ( which means I need to close around 15 other bookies that I'm using so they don't find my IP changing as a suspicious act )

Ok so this may sound a little confusing but I will try and explain it as simple as I can.  Always remember that the price score can never be greater than 1 (1 is Max).

Price score is Square root of Odds, then -1.

So square root of 4 = 2.
2-1 = price score of 1. (The max)

So equation for your bet is:

10 x 12.5 x 1 = 125

AFAIK grading isn't slow for all the markets , it's only slow for some of the markets and you can contact live support in case you waited long for your bet to be settled
but yeah making it faster is better of course
and I have asked before about adding more lines and more types of sports , the answer has always been is that mbet focuses more on horse racing but with time they may start taking care of the other sports as well

Its not about the $$  its about faucet leeches doing nothing other than complaining on live chat.  We are one of the only sportsbooks that provide a live chat support feature, I'm sure our players would much prefer that live chat stays and we dispose of the faucet leeches rather than the alternative.

There was an error in the deduction calc. 

You should have been paid 49.62 as there was only 2 places paid in that race.  I will adjust your account ASAP.

The calc is as follows:

The horse scratched was paying 6.5 at the time of scratching, that's a deduction of 14 for the win and 16 for the place ( I previously told you 13 for the place on the assumption that 3 places would be paid)

THE WIN
5mBTC x 9 = 45
45 x .14 = 6.3
45 - 6.3 = 38.7

THE PLACE
5mBTC x 2.6 = 13
13 x .16 = 2.08
13 - 2.08 = 10.92

So total payout should be:  49.62 mBTC

In lesser quality countries we go up late but in countries like the USA the UK, Canada and Australia we go up hours before.  Some times in the premier countries we go up 15 hours before the race.

We are pretty focused on the horse racing and currently the take up has kept as pretty busy.  Our horse racing product is introducing alot of "John the plumber" bitcoin investors to bitcoin gambling.

I bet with you because in betfair and all the other bookmaker you bet on DOLLARS. It is not the currency of my country, and to change them I have to pay very high commissions. On the other hand, with Bitcoin, commissions are lower and much faster.

Apart at the beginning the odds were very good, I could bet place separately, which was very interesting, you could also bet long in advance without having to keep an eye on the PC, but the odds went down a lo lot lot lot lot(difference 20.2 in 10 bets), no offer bets to place separately and now we have to wait for the odds to appear 3 or 2 even 1 minute before the race. Sometimes they do not even appear !!. You also have to try to guess when they offer careers and when they do not

Besides, I had the intention of attracting clients and working together. I wanted to try the page and see if so many good things were long term. Fortunately I did not, my reputation was at stake. Now everyone would hate me

Can I ask are you betting the betfair exchange?  I ask because you say that the liquidity in the EW is low in the morning, which sound like you are betting on the exchange.  If you are betting the exchange you have to take the commission that betfair charge into account.

yeah through the exchange and I do count the net odds after the 3% fee on winnings , still odds there are better always or let's say 99% of the times
but in general even if we compare the odds with the odds comparison sites you can see that mbet is nowhere near the site that offers the highest odds

There is a very simple answer to your grievance, you can choose to bet at these other shops.  

I hate to say that to a customer but you only bet on events that are rated "F" for us, we only rate as low as "F".  You are comparing us to places that you cant even bet.  An Australian customer would love to bet the AFL at Pinnacle but they cant, they don't carry on about it they just know that they cant.  We are 10% better than your local tote, the other customers in Chile (all 9 of them) are very happy with that, what they wont be happy is if we stop offering the product because all we get is complaints from one customer.  

EDIT:  What really pisses me off is you don't get on here and say.  I just backed a horse in the last at 2.45 when all I can get on my local tote was 1.7.

Hi mate, this was an error on one of the traders, accidentally hit abandon on the race rather than hide - like we've said before, these races (Hipodromo specifically) is a very low priority for us so if we are stacked up in other places we won't be taking bets on it. Our fault for not taking it out of the menu but even with abandoned on it you should be able to tell we were not taking bets on those races.

Not sure why you'd have a criticism like this, we're offering a new product that nobody else in the field has. Are you a limited/restricted client with the places you mention that offer these markets? I think we've been pretty clear and transparent with how we run things so not sure why you're still complaining about it. Not sure what regulation has to do with this conversation. No sports/racebook is required to take bets on any specific events, it's entirely up to the sportsbook. We offer all that we can at the time, one horse racing market missing is not much!

actually even if the site is licensed there is nothing that force bookies to offer the bets for certain event
for example there are tons of tennis matched like ITF that pinnacle sometimes don't offer them at all while some other bookies offer them
so can't really blame mbet for that

One day I see that they offer the best market shares, fixed odds early (copy betfair and paddypower), a new product for me that was the ability to bet "place or show" separately, quick withdrawals and a generous bonus for 1 year. For me, the dream sportsbook. And so I published it in this same forum for the first days of my experience here. I lost a little money the first days and until there all good. When I started earning money everything changed.


One day I was betting normal and suddenly delete all the odds that were published in advance. I write to the chat and they tell me that it is a system error and that they will solve it soon. I did not bet more all day. Then I realized that the supposed error of the system was a lie, only the rules of the game that were initially offered were changing me. Until then, Shaun considered me a valuable client (he said it right here)


Then I cant  bets to "place or show" separately the next day. You have to consider that my main earnings were betting on "place and show".


Despite all this, I continued betting because I offered the same as other sportsbook, and I reiterate, for me it is better to bet on bitcoin and not on USD. I also had a very interesting active bonus.

Then I have one day my account bloked. But fixed it

Then we continue betting. Now Each / Way and Mbet added me another difficulty. Now published the odds 1 minute (maybe 20 seconds and sometimes no published the odds) before the bets were suspended. And suspended bet 2 or 3 minuts before the horses started the race.

Something similar to William Hill (they give us 5 minutes for bet but close bets when Horses started). But I was very lucky, when I wanted to bet and did not reach the time always my chosen horse lost and when I was able to bet I won. And so my best day of earnings came. Guess where? Yes, Hipodromo Chile

Since that day 2 things happened. Mbet never offered more races of the Hipodromo Chile and lowered the odds to ridiculous levels. I posted it here and Shaun laughed at me and he lied to us all again



And so we come to this. If you do not believe me, I left testimonies in this forum day by day. If you do not believe me, I have enough evidence to prove that all this is true, you can ask me for intern.


Then as I was lucky enough to make money, everything became a lie

We have tried to replicate this but haven't been able to,  as we have had a few people mention this.  If you could give us your general location we will try and replicate it (so that we can fix the issue) we have no intention to block live chat in any jurisdiction, we just need to be able to replicate it so we know exactly what is causing the bug.

Do you really let your clients to bet on racing without any problem? I used your similiar company for 1-2 months. I was losing and all were fine , then i earn 2-3 times and my bets started to match around 1 minute after i click confirm. Sometimes it gets matched more than 1 minute and funny amounts. ( Im not a big player , all my bets were around 50- max 100 €s ) When i ask them about this , they say ' Your account looks ok and theres no limitation or delay from our side ' .....  Also i sent them video records which shows this delay but nothing changed. I was losing and all were fine , then i earn 2-3 times and my bets started to match around 1 minute after i click confirm. Sometimes it gets matched more than 1 minute and funny amounts. ( Im not a big player , all my bets were around 50- max 100 €s ) When i ask them about this , they say ' Your account looks ok and theres no limitation or delay from our side ' .....  Also i sent them video records which shows this delay but nothing changed. Is it on your responsibility or your betting source Latrobet ?

personally it's been a long time since I used mbet so I don't have any idea , but if you are really betting these limits you should be fine
I didn't have such problems in the past and  I used to bet the same amounts you are betting
not sure why this is happening tbh , at the end the odds aren't great in mbet so they should be happy to accept any amount of money on their odds so probably it's a general problem with the odds provider

In relation to bet size restrictions and delays in bets being set, the only clients this happens to are abusers of the system, such as clients with numerous accounts.  Our horse racing product has professional traders looking at the bets, so if your bet takes a few seconds to be accepted that is a trader just having a look.  As for the claim of 1minute+ I have never experienced anything like that, Im sure that if this has happened it must have been a system glitch rather than a client specific incident.

I am disappointed to learn that your 'professional traders', are delaying bets.

Two reasons for this, the first is the fact that it is a kind of cheating, and I am talking from the perspective of being involved in betting for the last 42 years on either side of the fence.
In pre internet days, a punter asked for a bet, and it was either accepted or declined, instant, just as it should be. By delaying you are leaving open yourselves to the suspicion of after timing as regards price movements, not a good thing.

Secondly, by adopting this procedure, you are showing no flair or initiative. Again before the internet a bookmaker would love a few clued up punters, because if the bookmaker was any good, he would use the punters knowledge and his own skill to his advantage, by adjusting prices on other horses, before the industry show does.

It was suggested that by a one of your customers, in this thread, that you  introduce a display max bet, I think it would be a good move for your firm.Would keep punters happy, and an happy punter can be a great asset in spreading awareness of your firm

I appreciate that in the pre-internet days things were a lot simpler.  It was also a time when a bookmaker stood a single race-meeting and a single race at a time.  Today we jump 170,000 races a year and offer exotics on a large portion of them.  

Further to this, in the crypto space anonymity introduces a layer that bookmakers in the pre-internet days could never have imagined. I can remember the days when on course bookmakers weren't even allowed to answer a phone.

I would like to clear up one thing, WE NEVER CHANGE THE ODDS ON A BET.  Unlike many books out there that have a box auto checked that says "accept odds change".

@thegreen, we dont offer lay options on any events.  On feature events we may offer favourite versus field markets, which is effectively a lay of the favourite. 

All of our withdrawals are human enacted and because of this withdrawals can take several hours, but we do our best to try and get them done asap.
