This dump is  normal just like the green period these past few days. If you could, convert it to BTC if you want a better rock investment and then hold it for a while. Last year, BTC reached 20k USD. If you have BTC and that kind of peak was reached that's a good opportunity for you.

for me holding is the best choice when our money is decreasing 'cause the market is very volatile which is if the price goes down it doesn't mean it wil continue to decrease indeed it will rise again but it takes time so we should wait for it  .It would be better for you if you know the cause. Sell or hodl is your choice, I will not suggest to sell and hodl because I don't know altcoin that you have. So, you will be better keep updated the latest information about the coin you have, and use your strategy to choose hodl or sell.
