Because since you have already won last time, you have statistically very little chance to consecutively win a second time at these odds...
and especially because it's India!

It's a known fact that previous outcomes do not affect future ones. Gamblers who don't understand this set a dicebot to "Increase by 10,000% on loss" playing with 98% win chance, and lose all their balance because of just two consecutive losses. I said "just" because there can be 3, and probably even more. I myself won 3 times in a row once, playing with 1% win chance. In fact I didn't win 3 times because I changed side, not believing that it can happen the third time, but it happened.

Statistics works good with millions and billions of events, but it fails frequently with not that many of them.
You won a second time, NZ beat India.
Congratulations. But it's sad for you, you only bet few satoshis each time.

Yes, I won that time too, despite your predictions Smiley

And, no, it's not sad for me, winning always feels good.
Yes you're a very strong bettor indeed, and I would be curious to know how many people in the world won these 2 bets in a row.

Of course it's doable in terms of programming, but it's impossible to implement in a provably fair game, which is MULTIPLY BTC on freebitco.in. In short, each roll is independent, and they can't affect the outcome in any way.
I disagree with that, if the game is really random and "provably fair" then the Gaussian law tells us that the probability tends to be respected, so when you flip a coin there are more chances you get 10 times heads and 10 times tails than you get 19times heads and 1 time tails...

If you have 0.01% and never win, how much so you expect others below than that to win some amount here? I agreed that huge tickets does not guarantee you to win as well but still the chance is much bigger and we expect to aim for 1st prize so numbers of tickets is really matter. And I do not know if there is a same numbers of tickets that distributed each week, because I mostly played with 100k satoshi but never hit any prizes as well

I decided to have a bet on the BTC price prediction as I won a little BTC from Halep winning the Women's Wimbledon title against Serena Williams. It was a risky bet but I thought Halep had a good tournament and that it was time for her to beat Serena as their last few matches have been close so it was nice to see Halep win and also win me some BTC. I like how this site has beating on sports now and I hope that the owner can add many more sports in the future.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

I really like how their user interface for sports/btc/... betting works (although its ugly in my opinion Wink ). Its plain simple and you see at the first glance what you have to do to place your bet. A lot of sports betting sites out there are simply overloaded with features which makes it harder for people who seldomly bet to use the site.

Er, I have seen lots of other players win with much much less than 0.01% chance. I mean, you only need to look at the past history of lottery winners yourself (on the website past lotteries) to see this. I'll never forget the guy who only had 2 tickets and won. That means he played 1 free roll and won..

That was my response to a suggestion that there can be an algorithm implemented on the site so that after a winning bet the chances of winning the next one become lower. Namely, to this one below:

~
I think it could be hardcoded in the algorithm that with every won bet the odds of winning the next  bet are altered ever so slightly. Now I am no programmer would like someone credible to either confirm or deny this?

So, what exactly do you disagree with? Are you trying to say that if there were much more than 10 "over 50" results within 20 bets, it means that the site is not "provably fair"?

The best thing about provably fair system is that a gambling site makes its move before you do. Unless they have a time machine, they can't rig the outcome of your roll because they have already broadcast their seed. Do you understand this?

Yes you're right they provide the hash of the seed they will use, and they allow us in a sub menu to change our seed.
Well, I don't think many users change it or are even aware they can do that.
And in the auto-bet if you don't click on randomize client seed, the client seed doesn't change, it stays constant during all the session.

Congratulations, you've discovered the power of nonces. All rolls from one to infinity are predetermined but randomized based on the nonces (and both seeds of course). If you're going to accuse a site of rigging provably fair, please know what you're talking about before making stupid claims. It's clearly too much effort to do your research before signature spamming though  Tongue

I don't mind attacking spammers. It's been pretty painful reading your posts in this thread recently  Tongue

You are right that nonces aren't random. This is a good thing - having the seeds allows you to verify all of your bets in sequential order, and you aren't trusting possibly malicious javascript to generate a random number that could benefit the dice site. When the nonce is combined with the client seed, you can then get a randomized value. NLNico has an excellent explanation on DiceSites.com about nonce based provably fair systems that I would highly recommend you read before making any more unsubstantiated claims.

Well in fact my quota of gambling posts is already fulfilled for this week so I was just replying to betwrong who quoted me and it wasn't just a campaign post like many of the messages here  Roll Eyes

Thank you for the link it's not exactly the same operations as freebitcoin but it's the same principle which is explained in fewer word on freebitcoin. Nonetheless there are some interesting tools in your link to verify the rolls without having to do it in shell.

Quote from: freebitco.in
Two strings are created :
STRING1 = "[NONCE]:[SERVER SEED]:[NONCE]"
STRING2 = "[NONCE]:[CLIENT SEED]:[NONCE]"

Then HMAC-SHA512 is used to hash STRING1 with STRING2 as the secret key, giving us a 128 character hex string.
The first 8 characters of the hex string are taken and converted to a decimal.
This decimal is then divided by 429496.7295 and rounded off to the nearest whole number.
This whole number is used as your roll, with the maximum possible value being 10,000.

About what promo you're talking? If you're about Reward points promo, here is the answer:
Quote
3x reward points (RP) promotion currently running and ends in 35h:25m:43s (6 RP/free roll, 3 RP/referral free roll, 3 RP/multiply roll).
As I know there are no other active promo on Freebitco.in now.

There is any way to track the bets expired after the end of one event?

Select Category -> Pending (for events that have yet to settle, AFAIK settlement is done manually so events might stick in there for a few hours when they complete) or Expired (for events that have settled). You can also specifically view your settled/pending bets with "My Expired Bets".

I had placed two very small bets to test out this system, and it seems to me that my bet on England was canceled as the match ended in a draw but England did win later so I’m happy I got it right. The second bet I placed was on Djokovic to win against Federer, and I got this one also right. @Darkstar_ thanks for this information as I too was searching for it as my small winnings were yet not credited.

No bets were cancelled. Darkstar_ is right about payouts being manual (ie. you have to wait for me to wake up in the morning before you get paid). The bet said, "Who will win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019?" so the fact that the game was tied after 50 overs doesn't affect the outcome.

Just got my second ticket for the Lambo, whoop whoop.

Actually didn't even realize I had already rolled that much (playing very very tiny wagers at the moment until I make a new deposit, or if I do, depending on how well I save money in my next payment tranche), and then I guess one realizes it doesn't take so much just regular playing at max RP value to get a couple of free tickets.

Yes of course I think I get it. I know how probability works and chance is chance, but you know psycho. A big chance to win and a small chance to win, multiple small chances and 1 huge chance, probability is a confusing game but it's fun and that's why we all try our luck. Statistically, I don't know how it works across the whole world and the whole lifetime of gambling but I suspect that it is all very close to neutral expected value, but who knows?

Statistically, I have been at 0.01% chance or more maybe even less than 10 times. So I should not expect to win haha.
Agreeing that some sort of psychology is also mixed up with this matter but if we do try to make calculations and probability we do really see the advantage of winning for that person who do accumulate most of the tickets rather into those masses but somehow even how small the chances are theres always the probability of winning. This is why its always been important to know the fairness on how they do choose up winners.
Psychology works on all gambling not just lottery, I mean there is a thing called gamblers fallacy and most of the time it only mentions stuff like "if I lost this many times in a row then I must win the next round" while they gamble which is totally wrong because every bet is same odds in itself and doesn't have anything to do with the previous bets.

This is usually used to talk with people who said they lost like 21 times in a row at a 50% bet and tell them that each bet has their individual results, so if you lose 20 times in a row the 21st one doesn't have anything more or less than any of the previous 20 ones, you can lose 5 times in a row or 50 times in a row and it is all the same. However when you bring psychology into it people think they will win after certain amount of loses.
