1 ticket costs only 1 satoshi. You don't need to wager 500 sats to get 1 ticket. Wagering to get tickets is stupid. Just get 500 tickets instead.

If I straight up buy tickets, that's always -EV. Due to the way their sports system is setup, it's possible to get a +EV bet and free tickets. The lottery is extremely -EV if you buy tickets as the pot is much lower than a 1 ticket:1 sat ratio, so I would argue the other side and say that buying tickets is stupid, while wagering and getting tickets as a bonus is the way to go.

I don't know what the logic is about getting tickets with satoshi either. Unless all you do is freeroll and you use freeroll satoshi to get tickets, then you're basically just losing time. I'd like to see something come out of my captcha time!

Can we have a bet for the Winner of the Rugby World cup now please, before it becomes to evident who would be winning the cup. As more games are played, it would be easier to see who the dominant contender would be and then the odds would be too easy to guess. 

Currently I think the strongest contenders are the All Blacks / South Africa / Australia / England ...but there are some teams like Whales and Ireland with a outside chance to take it. 

Would it be possible? I see some bets on the site, but I think we should start with the Winner of the Cup now.

Since the odds are always against gamblers, the expected value in negative. But sometimes gamblers use their own probability for calculating the expected value. If the probability of an outcome differs from what the odds are determined base on, the expected value can be positive.

There is 30+ days left (38-37?) so it is definitely still going on and will continue for another month and change. I have been putting all my affiliate income into it, since I make more every single day that means I buy more tickets everyday as well, at first I literally bought anytime I reached 25k satoshi but now I find it tiring and since I still have time I do it periodically like once a week or so, I will probably do another wholesale purchase couple weeks before the timer runs out and than once again right before it ends.

200k is 20btc right now. I am watching freebitco.in's payout addresses from time to time. There are indeed people with 20+ btc in that website. (saw withdrawals that big)

The point is, if you're trying to make a profit from gambling (which is what everyone wants), you have a much better chance of winning by playing dice or sports than from buying lottery tickets at FreeBitco.in.

OK, that make sense... I was just worried that the closer we get to the quarter-finals and the semi-finals, that it would become too easy to spot the ultimate winner. Most people think the All Blacks will take it, because they won the game against South Africa and because they are the number 1 team on the world rankings, but I think we will see a upset in this World Cup. <The All Blacks struggled with the high humidity and teams like England / Ireland from the northern hemisphere will have some advantage, because they are used to that kind of wet weather.

It is +EV if you arb laying this result with lower odds, on an exchange bookie, like Betfair. If Admin uses fixed odds (as I suggested before), clonig Pinnacle odds, for example, the total amount of bets woud increase exponencially.

That's not how EV works. Positive Expected Value means that for each bet placed, you're expected to profit that much. Basically a negative house edge. However, there's still short term variance, so you could win or lose a lot more. It should balance out in the long run though. I'll put it in simple terms for you: If I give you a 1/6 chance of winning, but give you a payout of 14x, are you expected to make a profit in the long run? (Hint: the answer is yes)

+EV can be guaranteed if you know what you're doing.

Keep in mind that we're talking about the English Premier League, the largest and most watched soccer league in the world. I'm not going to pretend that the chances are absolutely 0 without knowing but I'm talking about, but the chances are low enough that I don't care. It's certainly not a larger than 6% chance and even then, the outcome could still be fixed on what I'm betting on. This isn't some third tier Norwegian football being played here.

I can totally understand poker and sportsbooks, there are +ev possibilities in those when the time is right, don't get me wrong they are not +ev at every single time or bet, but there are those possibilities at least.

However, dice is rarely ever +ev in any case, maybe if a place is giving a contest or promotion that makes you get more in return of what you wager because they lack other players who wager and you win by luck and by lack of other gamblers but usually even those are not +ev at all.

Dice is a house edged game where nobody wins but the house, you may get lucky once or twice but if you long time enough and wager long enough you will lose all the time. Lottery is not +ev or negative, its between players, there is no house edge because house doesn't win anything.
