I've never liked the idea of having to put my face out there when winning a lottery, its like an invitation for every scammer and dishonest person to target you for your newly acquired riches.  

Nicely put. That's why we never see the winners here. I would expect patatas to come up with this simple logic by himself. Disappointed a bit tbh. If you wouldn't do it yourself, you just can't expect somebody else to come here and scream, "I WON THE LAMBOOO"

So did anyone win that Lamborghini Huracan as advertised in this threads title? I’m not keeping up with the latest news from FreeBit but apparently the free car thing was a scam and no one actually won anything. The thread title will be misleading if that offer is already expired and needs to be changed as it looks like a click bait at this point.

We cannot say with confidence that Lamborghini was not given to anyone. The winner was announced and there maybe chance that he is not active on bitcointalk and therefore he did not post anything here. Also i think he had an option to get the BTC instead of the car. If i had won that car, i would have taken the equivalent BTC.

What we know right now is that freebitcoin picked a winner very provably fair way and they also sent him an email, dude can see his profile as well here so basically the winner is all decided and notified. I don't know what happens and if there is "if the real winner doesn't respond to email in 30 days it goes to next winner" or stuff like that.

However, if winner doesn't respond or care, I have no idea what will happen and whats the rules and so forth when that happens. Lets hope that dude gets here eventually and gets his money, if not maybe thequin could enlighten us about what will happen if the winner doesn't respond for years. After all freebitcoin made tons of profit from this and it shouldn't turn into "winner hasn't responded so we are keeping the money" type of situation.

You are absolutely right here we have many winners from different sites and ways but never any one try to share because too many problems and things can happen and FreeBitco is doing very nice job for very long time I personally won very small prizes of different types from this faucet but never reveal as its my own decsions they no need to give any infomations about this.

I know I should have learnt my lesson after busting a few times but the last round worked out so well for me (even though all those thousands of tickets never won anything) I thought, second lambo lucky?

There is no scenario where freebitcoin doesn't pay up, they have paid probably THOUSANDS of bitcoin so far to their faucet claimers, (don't know the real number but I think it is possible with how old they are and how little bitcoin price used to be) so all in all this place already gave out - FOR FREE- hundreds of lambo if you calculate just the free faucet part.

Considering they give out free lottery tickets and free reward points and many other stuff, they have probably given even way more than that. In return? They have 5% house edge... that's it, that's all there is to it, they don't get your money in any other way, just make you gamble with 5% house edge versus %1. If you want to be suspicious about a website, you should at least do your own research.

It makes sense if you have the team & resources to handle the traffic. Primedice was so successful, they had to come up with another casino to increase their marketshare even more.

On the other hand, freebitco.in already has closed their other faucet freedoge because they don't have the man power to handle both freebitcoin and freedoge so thequin told.

The reason for us is that we want to offer the ability to buy Bitcoin from us as well. That means we need licencing and KYC checks and we don't want to impose that on freebitco.in customers so doing it on a new website is the best option.
