You write that you have already bet, if u do not mind, could you state what price and when you bet earlier and on what price you will bet tomorrow? I wonder which one will be closer to the final one at the end of month... Let's do a small experiment 

I made my first two bets two weeks ago, or maybe even earlier. I expected the price would rise significantly in the end of January(and I still hope, it will). Those were my two earlier bets:



But, unfortunately, I missed my chance to bet in the very last hour. When I remembered about that, it was too late already. I was going to bet on whatever range the price was at the moment of betting, so I would bet on "$8,001 - $8,500".

But this is not the end of the month yet, so I still hope to win with 57.92x multiplier.

So, even if you can win the daily jackpot with wagering 5 BTC (I don't think it's possible), It's like that you are playing a game with 1.7% house edge.

You need to pick your day to try it. Someone won with just 1 BTC wagered one day last week.

Wagering 5BTC in a one go to secure the top spot in the wagering content are high risk bet, I cant imagine risking 5BTC to win .13 BTC 

How exactly the prize are being computed on the wagering contest? Or it just go up like a count up timer with specific sats/sec?

The prizes are going up all the time as the timer counts down from what I can see,,, I think it depends on how much is being wagered on the whole site though because sometimes the value jumps a lot.

I can definitely imagine people wagering 5 BTC, and that is normal betting. But to win extra .13 I suppose I see it as an additional bonus.

Thank you for your good wishes! Yeah, I just missed the chance to bet in the very last hour the bets were accepted. Next time I'll set a reminder or something. Although the bets on BITCOIN PRICE - FEBRUARY are being accepted already, I'm going to wait until the very last hour this time. I know that, roughly, you can get your prize multiplied by 1.8x if you bet today, but Bitcoin price is so unpredictable in the case of predicting it one month in advance, that, I think, it's better to ignore that multiplier.

There are still some days to go but just like starting the 2020 bet (end of 2019 price) it looks like it will come down to final minutes of it for sure. When I mean final "minutes" I literally mean minutes because we are close to 8500 right now and still under it, it is around 8340 or so in many places (give or take few bucks), which is less than 2% or so I guess increase which bitcoin can do in a single minute if a whale buys enough.

Considering 8k-8.5k people and 8.5k-9k people are the biggest wagers right now, it would be interesting to see price going up until the last day, going above 9k would mean 7+ odds would be the winner, not like it is impossible since we already reached those levels this month as well, broke above 9k but couldn't sustained and fell, hopefully we will go back up.

I think it depends on wagering volume or the profit website makes. Because it were increased at a specific rate, the amount on different days was the same.

Its interesting to see that for the Super Bowl the San Francisco 49ers are the favourites to win on here while on all the sportsbooks its the Chiefs that are the favourites so there is some btc to be made if you fancy the Chiefs to win which I like as I already have a futures bet on them from before the playoffs started with Bet365.

Not quite a miracle just a definite push past 200 day average in just a few days.   Sure the odds are against it but weighed on a scales vs the odds stated, it was more probable then it was weighted for; it was a reasonable bet especially on just small amounts.    When the multiple is that high its justified to put on some small amount especially if it amounts to a hedge in a portfolio of positions which is something I can say generally.
   Price is very positive at present, I'm impressed how well its started this week.  Lets see if it can top 9075 then we might see that attempt at higher prices in just this short time.   The fact it sold off some from last attempt not down to 8000 but then formed a higher low; this has to push the needle towards more bullish action.

I put small wager on the outlier outcomes personally, no point having a virtual opinion only.   Simple argument tl;dr   is BTC volatile quite often ? hell yes

I think it best to start with major and most renown events out there.
Counter Strike, League of Legends, and Overwatch. There are so many divisions to pick from but it would be best to start with world championships in above categories I guess, you don't want to oversaturate your line-up to a point of confusion.

There is a big rush towards the 8.5k-9k nowadays because of the increase in the price that happened in the last 24-48 hours. The 8k to 8.5k people are getting the second place because of what it has been in the past few weeks. Interestingly the 10k-10.5k odds are still at 22.22 right now, that means people do not think bitcoin will break the resistance in the next few days, sure it looks not around there right now but if we broke the 9.4k barrier anytime in the next few days I am sure we will go beyond 10k as well and suddenly anyone at the top 5 predictions will be wrong as well.

By the looks of it I am sure the third spot already lost unless something major happens, 7.5k to 8k is not happening anytime soon and it requires some bad news about btc for it to happen if you ask me.

I am thinking the opposite actually, remember in Bitcoin trading when people get too bullish then usually a bear market starts and vice versa.

The 10-10.5k is not as easy as it looks. Look at the daily chart, if we basically close above $10K then it quite possibly means that we are going to target new 2019 and maybe retest all time highs later this year.

On most futures exchanges the premium and funding rate is already too high and seems too many people are expecting $10K very soon. However I think the $9400-9600 will be difficult to break and close above.
