No. I'm not telling you that. You are putting words in my mouth so that you can argue with them and totally ignore what I actually say. There is a far bigger picture that you are completely missing. These things are all interrelated. The increase in BTC price made RP bonus unsustainable. We took the opportunity to promote premium WoF via a new RP WoF bonus. WoF needed to be realigned back to its original EV at some point anyway but this just sped up the process a little.

That is a straw man argument. Nobody is asking them to give away 3k points per spin. It is the drastic reduction in probability, how it affects premium users, and how it was introduced without notice that people have a problem with.

Prize values have always gone up and down in sync with BTC values as far as I can remember. That's fine and perfectly understandable of course. If a player previously would win 30 Sats, and then the price of BTC doubles next month, then the same player should then win 15 Sats next time around, that makes perfect sense to me.

But the thing that I find strange is the changing of the actual fundamentals, the odds for the prizes. If it's true that the actual odds have changed, then spinning is obviously not as much fun as before. As an example, a few days ago, I did about 120 spins, and every single result was the same prize, either the lowest sats, or the lowest lott or the lowest RP prize. I can't say that spinning the wheel is very exciting when every result was the same.

I have zero issues with prize values decreasing or increasing in proportion to the value of BTC, but if the odds and fundamentals have been changed, then that is the only thing that I find to be strange, because those wouldn't be the same odds that were in effect when I bought the extra spins via the premium membership.

From previous experience, if we had reduced all the payouts I would have expected thousands of complaints. I've only had a handful of people complaining about the odds changing. I think that indicates that wetsuit and I came to the correct decision.

I think that you should gamble more to get to 100,000 quicker.

We give a kickback of 1 RP for every 500 Sats you wager. The ability to encash 100,000 RP for Bitcoin was always intended to be for gamblers and people who introduce a large number of referrals. The other RP bonuses are intended as a way that everyone else can convert their RP into Bitcoin.

I think that you should gamble more to get to 100,000 quicker.

As said, RP's always been for gamblers. This is why you don't get them from referrals, this is why you don't get them in large amounts, and I would vote even to increase the RP min for encashed for new accounts OR for those who never deposit and wager.

Maybe even do it something like the bonus free satoshi. The more you wager, the lower your redemption threshold.

This will make it unpopular with freeloaders. But it's not like the site loses anything from them right?

I don't think that's right, and there is probably a mistake in the description. From what I understand, the pay table for all WoF spins should be the same.

Babygun was just pointing out that the WOF spins bonus is not profitable anymore in the long run. Because you will lose more RP than you will win RP or satoshis in the long run. While with the former RP bonus we were winning 100satoshis for each additional free roll above 12 in one day.

I didn't know it was, tbh.    I'm never expecting profits from my gambling activities. What I value is the amount of fun I can get, while losing nothing or not that much. To me spinning the wheel is very entertaining, and it's definitely worth spending 702 RP to have 1 additional spin every free roll.

Before the price dropped 10% overnight, I would have said just above $72,500 was going to be the sweet spot for this month's guess the price, but now, I'm not so sure...

The odds have dropped significantly from 7x to 5x and I have observed that the odds drop further when the time for prediction is over.
So may be we can see the odds of the range $65k - $70k drop to 4x as well.
Now I am considering whether to place my bets of BTC prediciton or ETH prediction since both have some nice ranges to put our bets on.
