There is a lot of discussion in this thread about freebitcoin being a fraudulent casino. I don't understand why this is the case. I have never deposited money on freebitcoin and maybe that's why the casino has never cheated me. But I also played a lot of MULTIPLY BTC with funds mined in FREE BTC. And I even managed to withdraw free BTC from there. So I have no way to understand why freebitcoin is accused of fraud so much.

Personally, I don't feel confident to keep my funds at freebitco.in at this moment, but if things get right back on track once again, it might be possible to reconsider the idea.
With the current status that they have, most of the users are feeling the same as you. But if ever they get back on track and fix all of their backlogs, then that's possible to reclaim the trust that they gained all over the period of time.

It's such a waste if they won't fix all of these issues that they have after gaining that much reputation in this community. Let's see where it is going and maybe they're trying to do something better this time.

It won't be quick but as long as some moves are being done, they might get back on it. Otherwise, the stance of most won't change.

Dear BTC Talk Community,

Following up on our previous message, we're pleased to report that the mail backlog is steadily clearing, and your patience is greatly appreciated.

We're currently in the process of onboarding new team members to enhance our support services. This setup is ongoing, and we aim to improve response time soon.

Our PR account will continue to engage with you and provide updates on promotions and developments.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Best regards,
The FreeBitco.in Team

So far im happy with what you have accomplished. Personally everything i do on freebitco is working perfectly. I have cashed out more than i have deposited this week so of course im happy.=) I do think many people here need and deserve a little more in depth explanation. I also think you should acknowledge the more serious allegations. I know nothing about those allegations except one side. I am def curious to hear your side. I truly hope you make changes so this email thing wont happen in the future. I dont expect everything to always work. I do expect things to made good much quicker once a problem is discovered. In the future, please communicate with us much sooner than you did this time. We have to make up our on minds without you, and that never goes well. Thats my rambling for now=). I hope everyone continues to get whats theirs. Keep going FBC=)

The good news is that several things have been resolved including previously pending email. Many customers have successfully withdrawn their money from freebitco.in, but there are several other problem that may not have been resolved and of course all are waiting for clarification from the team. They say they are recruiting a new team, which is good news, so I think waiting patiently is a good choice right now.

Of course the sooner the better, but some people wish the owner or another freebitco.in representative would have something to say at this thread instead of just freebitco.in PR. I'm definitely waiting for the good news to come, including the announcement of new team members.

Your all FUCKING insane fuck theses assholes they stole my fucking 500 you fucking pieces of shit fucking acknowledge me you shit heads

If you know that you’re clean and didn’t do anything wrong that might have made them lock your account with $500 balance why don’t you go ahead and create a proper thread for it rather than to come to their Ann thread - shouting curses at them.

You sure aren’t going to get anything here, not from the way you have been requesting for help - so it would be better if you just have a dedicated thread and list out your proofs that support your innocence. But if you know that you did violate their terms then don’t just bother creating it.

At the very least, they acknowledged that there was a problem, which is a step at the right direction without a doubt. For a long while there were a lot of people here that requested help and nobody from the team even replied, which is why we had some issues with the website, and a lot of people left.

Now, we are looking at the situation and see that there is at least a response, a generic and company account response and not some personal one from thequin or wetsuit, but at the very least a response nonetheless. This is always a good direction to take, it will mean that we are going to hear more from them over time, and if they could actually make the situation go away, they could very well do something beneficial for the customers too.

Code:
What happened: over the month of April, I had made large deposits of $2,000 at least three times and made my way into the monthly wagering contest. As one of the top 10, I ended up winning the contest at number 7 for a total of $500. Upon winning I received an email confirming my victory
https://i.imgur.com/rW1fvb7.png
However, less than a couple minutes later I noticed that my balance was drained and set to zero and I had gotten an email stating that I had made a withdrawal request which I did not make. I didn't even have time to.
https://i.imgur.com/mvHbjQf.png
I did not confirm the withdrawal as in I did not click the link. Therefore, it should be sent back to my balance within an hour.
I immediately started to change my 2fa and my passwords to keep my account secure.
https://i.imgur.com/svUWSzf.png
https://i.imgur.com/fjLAS4W.png

While in the meantime My unauthorized request was canceled because the hour had lapsed. And the money was put back into my account.
https://i.imgur.com/olzcwZM.png

I also had changed my deposit address into my crypto.com  wallet and made that into my default address.
Scammed by freebitco.in https://imgur.com/gallery/3HUWdyy

I tried to cash it out however it got sent to a totally different address supposably my Bitcoin wallet on freebitco.in and it happened to be my old address so I changed my default address yet it sent it to my old address which I don't know how it did that
 Here are two screenshots of how I don't even know this is possible.
https://i.imgur.com/UNGWjUh.png
https://i.imgur.com/1kUxsDW.png

Now since I enabled my 2fa. It made it so I no longer needed a to do a email confirmation before the deposit was sent so I never got a verification email.

However, I got a verification that the Bitcoin had been sent to this supposed old address which I never sent to. Furthermore, the balance never showed up.
https://i.imgur.com/pFhAN9p.png

Here is a screenshot of it being confirmed on the freebitco.in website saying that I got a deposit from myself, however it never showed up in my balance.
https://i.imgur.com/GHhcd9l.png

At that moment I was screwed. Here's a summary of what I think is going on.

Keep in mind that the owner of the website the Quinn fails to ever respond to problems his users face on his website. Here's the summary.

The 2fa thing is part of the scam.

They make a withdraw request which triggers the email.

As a result of an UN requested withdrawal the customer gets spooked and immediately changes there security settings in belief that this will help secure there account.

However, this is a trojan horse that that allows the  withdrawal confirmation request to be disabled.

Thus, the original attacker is able to capitalize on the ignorance of the individual who is thinking there securing there account by enabling there 2fa security measures.

Using fear to trap the individual into unknowingly let there defense down and be luted by either hackers or some one on the inside or backend of the freebitco.in site.

It's genius really but completely f***** up

Either way, security or no security measures anyone can be targeted rendering this website
Extremely dangerous for anyone who has a balance.

This happened to me the other day right after I had won the wagering contest 7th place $500.

We can speculate all we want as to whether or not the websites secure .

But the fact that the matter is there's a few of us that would like to get the hard-earned money that we won.

So we can keep talking about what's wrong with the website or we can discuss how we're going to make reparations to these individuals.

However, if it's an inside job, there's little chance for recovering the funds other than reporting to the FTC and financial crimes units.

Mr. Quinn in my opinion is either part of The problem by allowing this to happen or he's directly involved. Either way, he's guilty by association because he knows his website's faulty and he fails to do anything about it.

And I also have another issue which I doubt will ever get solved. But I ordered a hardware wallet with my hard-earned reward points. I never got that wallet and I never got refunded my reward points but that's an issue for some other time I guess. Or that ship is already sailed which sucks.

They are acknowledging about this all for the long time, but their response was never been good but now as they are having many negatives and things are going out of the control suddenly we are having update from them even this is still going to take time because they are in process of this all and few members are also having their problems solved but many like me still hanging, and we are having nothing right now into control.

Hopefully their new team will start this all soon, and we will have better environment which will give quick response and also updates regarding deposits and withdrawals my account is not logging for the long time, and I am having not updated about this all.

How soon is "soon"? Few days? Weeks? Month? Can you tell us anything about @TheQuin? He is the one who is responsible for answering our questions and solving issues but he is very inactive and doesn't respond to scam accusations. In fact, I am surprised that I heard messages from you but TheQuin hasn't even visited this forum since 23 May. Isn't he part of the Freebitco team? Please update us about it.

wondering why there is a need for new team members? does it mean that those previous are not functional anymore?
It's pretty obvious, isn't it? The previous team members either voluntarily left themselves or were removed for various reasons which is why they are trying to hire new members as quickly as possible.

Their reputation took a big hit recently which is why they need  to do a lot of right moves in order to appease their customers.
Whether previous team members were removed or they voluntarily left it's no new thing, in any organization when a team isn't giving sufficient performance or bringing in the results expected of them by the management, laying them off to bring in new hands becomes necessary. Freebitcoin have their personal reasons for a new team and it's likely part of efforts to meeting every users complains and getting things to work optimally with their platform.

I read this case back when it was newly created but when I saw your last post in this thread (before my previous response) I thought you didn’t have an accusation thread against them already - but it seems like you already do.

And I also have another issue which I doubt will ever get solved. But I ordered a hardware wallet with my hard-earned reward points. I never got that wallet and I never got refunded my reward points but that's an issue for some other time I guess. Or that ship is already sailed which sucks.

I just checked your previous posts and I found this one you made which contradicts the part I cut out from your post. In the post you claimed to have gotten a refund from the wallet you order but now you’re saying you never got your points back, so which should we believe? The one were you said you got your points back or the one that you claimed to not have gotten a refund

So I have an update about the hardware wallet that I have been bitching about for the last month. Freebitco.in has reissued my reward points. Thank God take back everything I said. Well almost cuz I'm still owed $500 from wagering contest that was taken for me but I can confirm that I got my reward points back and I was able to cash out to my wallet. No problem, hopefully they can can get this problem with the cash travel malware fingered out and if they can do that then we're in good standing. Thank you freeBitco.in for my  reward points.

Maybe yes but most likely not since nobody will leave on their job if they know the platform they are working on is successful. Maybe the issue happen on internal side since we don't know if they have changed their management and the in charge or who have bigger stake to the company want new people for changes. That's why maybe this is the reason why we don't see TheQuinn around.

But any of that they should make hiring new people became faster since this thread need to get moderated since there's a lot of people trolling or still complaining and if they can't handle this situation then maybe a lot of their current players might have doubts to trust them. We already see a reputable casino became scam so hopefully they are not going in that situation and still they operate as one of trusted longest casino in this forum.

Yes, I was refunded for the wallet due to a lapse of time within the website. So it was like automatic and the reason I reposted it was. I forgot that I even posted it but I just copied and pasted my thread which somebody was saying that I needed to create so it was an accident. Yes, I have received my refund. However, I'm still missing my 500 and I didn't type in the wrong address it was put in for me there's a lot of people who had the same thing happen to them on the same day

How soon is "soon"? Few days? Weeks? Month? Can you tell us anything about @TheQuin? He is the one who is responsible for answering our questions and solving issues but he is very inactive and doesn't respond to scam accusations. In fact, I am surprised that I heard messages from you but TheQuin hasn't even visited this forum since 23 May. Isn't he part of the Freebitco team? Please update us about it.

However, I got a verification that the Bitcoin had been sent to this supposed old address which I never sent to. Furthermore, the balance never showed up.

Here is a screenshot of it being confirmed on the freebitco.in website saying that I got a deposit from myself, however it never showed up in my balance.

You wouldn't receive coins because given address is incorrect. 1Jw8cBgPcKYqVLSzFEsRTZD7HNdJTwX3N <-- This is the address that you tried to withdraw to and when I type this address on Blockchain.com

1Jw8cBgdPcKYqVLSzFEsRTZD7HNdJTwX3N <-- This is your real address.
1Jw8cBgPcKYqVLSzFEsRTZD7HNdJTwX3N <-- This is the wrong address.

Your wrong I never tried to withdraw from that address it's not even one of my addresses it was somehow inserted by someone else

Notice how my old address is. One of the addresses is missing. The one in question. How am I able to remove it? I can't remove it. It's impossible for me yet there it is missing. Just look at the two pictures

~~~
With the current status that they have, most of the users are feeling the same as you. But if ever they get back on track and fix all of their backlogs, then that's possible to reclaim the trust that they gained all over the period of time.
It's such a waste if they won't fix all of these issues that they have after gaining that much reputation in this community. Let's see where it is going and maybe they're trying to do something better this time.
It won't be quick but as long as some moves are being done, they might get back on it. Otherwise, the stance of most won't change.
The good news is that several things have been resolved including previously pending email. Many customers have successfully withdrawn their money from freebitco.in, but there are several other problem that may not have been resolved and of course all are waiting for clarification from the team. They say they are recruiting a new team, which is good news, so I think waiting patiently is a good choice right now.
Of course the sooner the better, but some people wish the owner or another freebitco.in representative would have something to say at this thread instead of just freebitco.in PR. I'm definitely waiting for the good news to come, including the announcement of new team members.
I think that the PR is doing its job as the representative of the company and if already said that they're trying to extend their team by hiring new members that shall help to address their current issues, maybe that's enough for them.
I know that those affected ones aren't satisfied with it but let's see until how long the remaining issues are going to be solved.
While concerns are also here in the thread, they've got the whole time to respond on them maybe privately to cater their issues.
Your all FUCKING insane fuck theses assholes they stole my fucking 500 you fucking pieces of shit fucking acknowledge me you shit heads
I also read your post stating this "dude I need my cash desperately if you have the power to fix it now is the Goddamn time I sent you personal messages and you haven't said anything I'm screwed because I trusted your website the least you could do is send a simple reply I hate your website because you guys f***** me over and left me in a horrible position to ou screwed my finances up and you don't care how much damage you caused in my life because of your insubordination RESPOND ALREADY I NEED MY MONEY GOD DAMMMIT"
Im curious, did you deposit money that you needed on a bitcoin web site that has gambling? Im not saying its ok if what your saying is true. I am thinking, you were prepared to risk this money in the first place. Why would anyone ever put money they need in a risky situation in the first place? If $500 put you in such a pickle, then maybe learn from this? If its money you won and didnt deposit, this makes much less sense. Then you come here and tell us we are all insane and call them a-holes. If you really think that, no one is asking you to stay and send abuse our way. I use to react this way too. Ive been screwed by more btc web sites than i care to admit. Ive found that getting upset and reacting this way gives the person your mad at the excuse to ignore you. I understand you have been waiting a long time for an answer. We all have been waiting for answers. So far we have a few but def need more. I recommend, you clean up your language and consistently check in here until they get some support to talk to us. Realize that may never happen, idk? Or move on. Learn what you can from this and try your best to leave it behind. It cant be good for you or loved ones for you to be as stressed as you seem. I promise im not judging. Seriously just trying to help like people did when i would act similarly. I hope you have good luck and get whats yours.
Good detective work! This makes sense. I was wondering why FBC would only steal one guys $$ if he was correct. Now we see what happened. FBC is def not responsible for this one.
