HAHAHA! So they’re allowing deposits again? And to make it look normal, they’re allowing withdrawals—or rather, letting people request withdrawals that never actually arrive.
I shouldn’t be laughing because more people will fall for this and lose their money, but this is just too ridiculous.
I just checked and saw that exactly two years ago I created a preventive flag—which some people label as an "aggressive" use of the trust system—to warn about these kinds of things. Two years later, we’re still in the same boat.
You did good by raising the red flags when it was needed, there could be people who actually decided to keep their money away from these scammers thanks to your flag, even if you only save a single person from these people it was completely worth it.
Completely agree. Saving even one person from dropping their funds into a black hole makes the effort worth it.
To help scale that warning and make sure anyone searching the web immediately sees the truth, we've launched a dedicated evidence-tracking site:
It lays out the timeline of frozen payouts and forum proof cleanly so users can see exactly why they shouldn't deposit a single Satoshi. Feel free to pass the link around to anyone who needs to see the cold data!
Right, it is fine a good if you feel like making a platform in order to get people aware of this scam so they can keep their money away... But I have also noticed you are using all this situation to do a little bit of advertising to your own services to people who may have been interested in faucets like Freebitcoin.
Nothing wrong with that (nobody opens a website for free). But you should be a little bit more transparent and make clear you are the owner of those services you are recommending to potential victims of this scam.
Anyways, you are already doing more then most people can do, I will grant you that. I may even check some of those faucets you have listed there, as I have never seen a faucet which operated with DASH, whose hype is pretty much done nowadays.
