I would also like to know this, perhaps this question is better to ask in Discord since here representatives and developers do not appear.  I hope it remains to wait a few weeks or months. Let them make an excellent and demanded product without bugs, the main thing is that the launch took place on the growing market.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. It would be nicer, if the team moved away from Discord. There is for example : https://matrix.org/ which would be way better !

Maybe there is some Starwars fantasize in the team, with an ideal to have a mega official release of the public beta party...

I don't really understand what are the arguments of the team to not release the link publicly to download the latest rolling beta.

There will still be updates after the release. It would just permit to more users (who aren't all on discord) to join !!!

Stakenet have successfully deployed the "taker pays maker" (negative) fee model to closed beta!

Anyone using the latest version of Stakenet DEX can now receive taker fees with any limit orders filled.

We will be running dedicated tests with beta users this weekend!

Roadmap Update | MARCH 26 2021

As we make great strides through our current Roadmap, we have now updated the progress percentage for each item within it.
Stakenet Wallet
-ETH + ERC20 token support | 85% -> 90% Our team has integrated connext into our light wallet allowing users to deposit and withdraw ETH and ERC-20’s. Currently we are finalizing the channel opening and closing functionality and then will be testing swaps from the light wallet/DEX interface. (We have already run successful stress tests of this functionality using the daemon).
-Simple Swap UI (SSUI) | 80% -> 90% Our SSUI will continue to be optimized in closed beta and will be a key component for L2 interactions of channel managment and exchanging.

Stakenet’s vision: Part I — DEX vs CEX

As we draw closer to the public launch of the Stakenet DEX, we have planned a short series of articles highlighting the various types of cryptocurrency exchanges, with their advantages and disadvantages, and finalising with a summary of new developments in this area.
We have planned a community activity at the end of this article series, so make sure to read it thoroughly. We begin with the most common and popular type of exchange, a centralized exchange.

For a long time, a CEX was the only way to trade crypto. The first generation of CEXs opened for business around 2010. They’ve played an essential role in boosting crypto adoption by making it accessible to broader audiences. The largest exchanges today (i.e. Binance, Bitfinex, Coinbase) continue to operate as centralized exchanges.
This type of exchange is fast and capable of providing good liquidity, CEXs can handle heavy traffic and are relatively easier to set up and operate. Their role as custodians of their users’ funds requires that they adhere to tighter government regulations — which provides a certain peace of mind that might appeal to a new investor....

Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) arose to match the need for a secure, permanent, immutable medium to trade assets freely and without interference or special permissions from centralized entities. In other words, DEXs extend the immutable nature of the blockchain to cover the trading mechanism.....

A very interesting comparison between DEX and CEX, full version: https://medium.com/stakenet/stakenets-vision-part-i-dex-vs-cex-158467acb532

As we draw closer to the public launch of the Stakenet DEX...

April Fools?

The XSN team is not in a joke, they continue to work and publish the latest news.

We just reached over 3000 XSN Masternodes, with over 20 million dollars in total value locked and 40% of the circulating supply!
This is an amazing milestone, as it is laying a really decentralized foundation for our upcoming StakenetDEX and other dApps!

Stakenet’s vision: Part II —Breaking down the layers — Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3

In the last article, we discussed the differences between centralized exchanges (CEX) and decentralized exchanges (DEX) including the pros and cons of each. It is equally important to understand how a DEX’s ecosystem works and what it is compatible with. Does it use native assets? Can it scale according to the number of people using it? Does it allow a user to trade privately, or even, anonymously?

https://medium.com/stakenet/stakenets-vision-part-ii-breaking-down-the-layers-layer-1-layer-2-and-layer-3-9103a4e42308

Stakenet DEX is a Layer 3 DEX: supporting off-chain, cross-chain, and cross-network trades with native assets on L2.
While this is a closed beta version.

yurez,

Thanks for all the re-post you do ! You should definitely make a proposal in the MN system to get yourself some funding for this activity.

Congrats to the writer(s) for the quality work they do !

It would just so nice to move on with this closed beta and start the REAL public beta...

Does the LN of BTC now accepts direct .onion lightning connections?

My whole point is that we can wait for "years" to finish the DEX, or start NOW and move along with the features and bugs...

I mean, has at least a date been set for the opening of the BETA? It would be so simpler to have a torrent link in the stakenet website so that everyone can enjoy the DEX and the LN wallets...

As we draw closer to the public launch of the Stakenet DEX...

April Fools?

The XSN team is not in a joke, they continue to work and publish the latest news.

I hope, just release the kraken !

Two years ago, I dreamed that bitcoin was more expensive than 35k. I hope here we will not wait another two years for the public version.

We are proud to release our new Explorer 2.0!

- brand new UI
- plenty of new metrics such as MN and Staking ROI
- displaying total locked XSN, currently at 40 million dollars
- many more features to be added within the next weeks

Stakenet’s vision: Part III — The Lightning Network

What is the Lightning Network? Why will it be the future of scalable decentralized trading? Why has Stakenet integrated the Lightning Network into their DEX for trading? If you’re new to the crypto-sphere then these questions might not be easy to answer. So with this in mind, we’ve put together this article to give you a better understanding.
