Make sure its goal isn't really exaggerated and if you're looking at investing check its possible return in a period. I am pretty sure that you won't be so stupid in investing at a large returns in a day unless that project is really earning tons of gold in their operation.

You can't be sure ICO is scam or not , until you'l get your tokens and project begins to fulfil their promises and follow the roadmap . The same situation with bounties - you can't be sure until you'l get your tokens . But even if you receive some coins , it doesn't mean they are honest with you . You have to check budget allocation and compare your earnings with total stakes amount and partcipants number . This is the way how managers can easily fool bounty hunters , by manipulating with total budget and stakes system .

It is very hard to say whether the project is scam or not, so you should do your own research very carefully and if you find some red flags (bad site, no proofs of the idea, fake links) don't take part in this bounty campaign.

it seems we will not know bounty will be scam or profitable before the bounty of the project ends and tokens are given but we can predict it by how they respond to the questions and comments of the participants

At the initial stage, it is very difficult to determine. After all, scammers can disguise themselves well. You can expose them later, watching their activities on social networks, watching the ICO. Unfortunately, in the end, you can stay with a handful of junk coins in the wallet.

Most important is to see the team members and check them out. Second most important is design. Is it stolen from somewhere or it is original? Most of the scam projects are not very good in details.

It's hard to tell if the ICO you chose is a scam, if you look to their website. But there are some points that might help to tell whether your chosen ICO is a scam or promising. You can visit there website and take a look to their team. Check also the details because some scam ICO only copies their details and logos.

Unfortunately there is no way to know from the beginning. You have to rely on the reputation of the manager, analyze information about the project and much more. Perhaps the services that collect statistics about the conducted bounty might be useful.

If you don't like to do investigation on our own you should check on popular websites such as icoBench, topicolist, icowatchlist and see how good the projects are rated and if they are on the list on the website even.

Other include you doing proper research of team members, idea behind and all others necessary stuff.

This is exactly what I do. I check out sites or platforms that rates ICOs or projects based on many different variables. I then compare the information one site with others, and also, from the information I get from this forum. I build somewhat like a project analysis of the projects I join, and if I see that there are "off" details that can be a problem and can affect the projects identity and the way it would get support from people, which in turn, would affect how it will unfold as a project, then I would refrain from going for that project just to be safe. I want a project that has a trustworthy and reliable details around it rather than those shady ones.

There are some specific criteria about to know the Bounty is scam or not. At first, You have to check it out on the developer team and website. If you are able to make understand properly then you may find it solved. it's totally dependent on your capacity.

First, I look at the team, if they don't have a problem, and then look at the Google spreadsheet without any updates, you can tell if the AD series is a hoax.

Therefore, before joining, we must choose carefully what we can believe to be successful in the future.

See Savedroid project, it has no other campaign manager, they are active and you can see them doing effort when the ICO still running, yet they made the move to run and scam people. What we need to do is depend on our own analysis as well having a group of people who can help us to sort things or depend on a responsible bounty manager that will keep us informed.

First of all, study the ICO well, research for their background and also take a look at the moderator. Most of the bounties have telegram, and it can also be a way to determine the legibility of the bounty, you can seek for the telegram group and ask questions about the one that is managing that bounty program. Always be alert and always be mindful of everything included, and most importantly, read thoroughly on their whitepapers and pinned infos.

Research the ICO just like you would be doing your research if it were an ICO you might be interested in investing in. Also, check the bounty manager. Check how his / her campaigns have gone before (some may have dealt with issues due to the team behind the project, and may not be the manager's fault), but if you see many complaints from different campaigns then maybe the problem is the manager and not the ICO.
Unfortunately, even with all the research you might also end up being scammed. I guess it also has to do with luck in a way.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.
One thing that you have to research to know if that ICO is not a scam is through researching their CEO. Try to research their CEO in the net to reveal his credentials, if non then you can doubt of it's ICO.
