Check the team, the website, determine whether the team is responsive on their Telegram chat. Check their Linkedin profiles too. And also, do read the whitepaper beforehand.

Sometimes the scammers are doing very well with their website and their fake profiles, you will not know if these people are really the ones who are claiming to be,especially if there is no one who can interact with the participants.

Unfortunately, it is not always possible to understand. For this reason, the experience here has great significance. Besides, information, attention and luck are also important factors.

The first thing i believe should attract every bounty participant to any project is the team. In every project that is deem to succeed and is legit must have a very good team. The next thing is carefully written white paper communicating the right intent of the project. Then you can go ahead to look at the hype of such project.

Actually, it is quite difficult to ensure that the bounty is a scam or not. For, the scammer commonly has created the ICO project as good as possible as the other good real bounty.
I also got some scams on the bounty but it doesn't matter because I'm ready to face everything as the risk or benefit.
But, we can also minimize participating the scam bounty in some ways.
Generally, I will look at the bounty manager, the track record, and experience of the bounty manager. We can also see the token allocation for the bounty program, choose the most reliable, not the highest allocation.

My first personal review on bounty is to know the campaign manager handling the bounty is he a reputable, honest and credible manager? of course a manager with a high integrity will not manage a scam bounty knowing that his trust will be questioned if the bounty ended up scamming the participants, more so  I read a lot about the bounty on google, read a lot of reviews before taking a final decision.

there are various ways of understanding this.Firstly attention should first be paid to internet pages, teams, managers and supporters. the idea is also important. but you should have some luck for it too.

Usually, we can see on their website and whitepaper it is not clear. then we can see the response of his team or bounty manager, usually they are less response .. and lastly, if the team or bounty manager disappeared, it is definitely a scam

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

First of all dont trust ICO listing websites. Because they might get money from fake ICO'S and giving fake rating. People are believing on these website and investing in it. First read the whitepaper and search about the ICO, whether they really promoting their projects or not.

Finding a good ICO is really a hard work that takes a lot of time and energy. I usually use insidetoken.xyz and icobench.com to learn about new projects and their upcoming tokens that worth something. And of course I constantly read Announcement tokens sections on this forum and news channel and Telegram.

It is difficult to identify these scams. They are now doing exquisite web pages. There are many fake followers on Twitter. They can even make detailed white papers. For most people, it is very difficult to see them as scam in the first time.

White paper would give you an idea of how long term or short term the project is. Be also  careful enough to do a background check on the members of the team. do they have strong track record and reputation in the roles that they are supposed to be serving in? Pay attention to the language and focus of the white paper. Here, I would like you to pay attention to the overall feeling you get after reading the White Paper.

You should always look at the project team! If the project does not scam, the team will be open to the public, hold various conferences and so on.

The few things I check beore to join a campaign are
- the team (with their names, and verifiable linkedin profiles with contacts),
- the project,
- the project social accounts (not just created)
- the bounty manager : I prefer when he isn't from the team.
- the rewards and the number of hunters already in.

Another tip is to join campaigns in their late weeks when sales percentage is high enough to make ICO success.
This way, campaign is shorter and I can jump fast to the next. If it pays that's good, if not ... I din't lose lot of time in it.

There are several ways to understand if a Bounty is a scam. Try to investigate their team members if they're real people. Try to use scam monitors design for crypto projects. Try to understand their whitepaper if there is inconsistency. Scam projects have unrealistic goals. If the project does have that potential, professional developers will never make such promises. They will let you know about the potential of their project and that’s it. No serious team will ever make a price prediction about their token or claim it can fix the world.

Of course, considering the information, campaign manager activity is always the first thing to do because if the project is serious, they will certainly hire a professional manager but as you say, the scam is becoming more perfect, we should not be too subjective. Next I think we should read about the project information, the field that this project will aim to develop in the future, scams will talk about this very vague, finally, we should care about the community of the project, the community always contributes ideas and supports or not, those are the factors to determine whether a bounty is scam or not

Try to check out the team , search for their linkedin profile or other social media accounts to know if they are real.
I also do bounty with project that hires an already known campaign manager with no negative trust.
Lastly you can also check them out on ico rating websites to see.
Just a little bit research will save you from wasting your time and resources on some shitty bounties
