usually this is seen from the situation contained in the bounty program if def or team assigned untu bounty campaign program that does not send feedback or things we need to get the information. or sometimes can also be seen from suspicious and untrustworthy websites or have been suspended indirectly it can be considered a scam!

I think that today it is very difficult to do this, because today there is a lot of scum, because everyone is trying to make money, but many still do not understand how to do this properly and therefore a lot of scam projects.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

You will know if it is a scam whenever you check the ICO website or whitepaper it is really not clear or it is just copied by the other legit bounty. Also, you also need to check that the bounty who is managing it doesn't have negative trust because for sure those legit managers don't have time to accept scam bounty because they are also earning from it. If you have been working here in the forum you know which managers are legit and can be trusted be always careful and always check before applying.

It all boils down to the team and their social media presence. Before joining any bounty, check their online presence and the manager handling the bounty.

To know if bounty is a scam one need to be very vigilant, starting from the team management to the ambition or aims of their projects and then the bounty manager that is managing their campaign. They must be an experienced  individual.

It's hard to detect scam bounty.
I suggest you to do some research about their project first before you join their bounty. Read their whitepaper and social media.

Study and think. If you think your reward is a scam , please leave as soon as possible. I've been there once, until the end, but the ending is still waiting. I told them to cheat people's money. Before you join, please consider carefully if it is a fake or legal reward.

Join the Bounty people group on Telegram. Perceive how they deal with the Bounty, or you can check their site pages, director information, venture advance. These are the most essential ones for you to know whether an abundance is a trick or a potential one.

before we will follow the bounty is started to see the project through the website that has been listed.
after that follow developments through the media that can to discuss each other ..
and start asking about the progress of the project ..
that's where we can later understand whether this project will bounty scam or not..

When we are looking for a reliable bounty campaign, we have to do some good search for their
--> real team members.
-->activity in social media.
-->project detail with full company address and network.

Additionally, a good ICO will be transparent in presenting their ICO, token sale, and their concept in their website or whitepaper. I am also pleased to learn the ICO from the thread and forum.

A lot of ICO projects is a fraud, so I think that you should not expect that by participating in bounty companies you will not face scams.

I think that is not considered as a scam. Probably, this bounty manager will respond you about your translation later. Some of the scam teams disappear with the gathered crypto currencies after the ICO campaign. They just steal the money of investors. Undoubtedly, this is a scam and should be punished.

To know if the bounty ICO is a scam or not, you need to look at the team in a primary order. Notice if they ask the KYC for investors. Don't even look at the project, if the ICO team is hiding themselves.
Hi jabiii, I was about to mention this topic about Bounty Scam. Thanks for bringing it to the forum!
All the comments I have read are good. It is not so easy to detect it only those Bounties that are more obvious.
My first experience,
Case: Graphene Power
1. The Project looked interesting and good, website and some reviews of ICO's specialist platforms with a good rating. https://www.trackico.io/ico/graphene-power/
I do not know if they gave tokens to investors in regards to the Bounty campaign, "NO".
The project developer team did not show their face as you can check in the thread and yet we fell into the trap.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2495502.0

2. The Telegram channel that GraphenePower used was for news, they did not even have a Telegram Chat channel for ICO. https://t.me/GraphenePower

3. Declared by the bounty manager as SCAMM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2526372.0

4. Currently the website does not exist http://gpower.network/ "This Web page is parked for FREE, courtesy of GoDaddy.com."

I still have other cases to explain but I will do it at another time. I would like to know the opinion of the members of high rating in Bitcointalk what should we do? Is something being done to prevent us from being scammed in our community?

Thanks guys! Let's support this thread!

Personally I find it very hard to identify whether a bounty is a scam or not. There are a lot of bounty campaigns out there and most of them looks like legit. You can only know for sure once you experience it. Maybe you can check the bounty manager. If the manager has already have some successful campaign in the past, most likely its legit.

For me the easiest way to know the ICO or bounty scam is the team and the roadmap, usually a scam roadmap never made in detail and just simple otherwise investigating the team is important so we are not exposed to a scam.

If the Google spreadsheet is not updated for a long time, you can determine if the project is a hoax.

Do some research to prevent fraud or waste all your work.

The more senior the reward manager, the more trustworthy he is.

Look at their soft cap and the project. If they do not have a good project and seems that unrealistic then do more research about the background of the team, if you found nothing is good about them then avoid them.

Hard pressed to actually differentiate project scam or not. Moreover, nowadays more and more existing ICO project. In my opinion it will be increasingly difficult to distinguish the project can succeed and that scam. We can only be more cautious, and more selective in choosing projects.
