I think that one of the important factors to check if the bounty project is a scam is to determine if the project's team is really legitimate. Check them at famous ICO websites that rates projects based on their trust ratings. Also try to do your own research and see if it is quite reliable or not.

I'm sure that you can not determine for yourself whether the project is a scam or not. Usually you'll find out about it at the last moment - when everyone already knows about it.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

Before its very easy to identify the scam bounties due to its project team personality around them but for now its really difficult to identify a good bounty to participate because some scammed project are hiring well known bounty manager to run their projects.

Well first of all check first the appearance of the page if the page was not attractive then we might say that it was a scam because minimal effort is inserted next is when the facilitator of the campaign have a low rank because they skill was and experience was not quite good enough to did a campaign I'm not underestimating them but we need to be practical next if the spread sheet is updating weekly because if it was not updating then it was a scam the things that you have was only for nothing.

I think the best idea to check whether a bounty is spam or not is to check about it on Internet and go through their projects.

Investigate!!!
make a research with the team members, their addresses and the propose project.
Make studies about their projects and history.

all of that is good, after that you dont have anything unless at the end they run away.

In my opinion, the easiest way to protect yourself from scammers is to take up the bounty program of companies that have finished products.

Need to choose a bounty in terms of ICO quality. If the ICO has signs of a scam, then the bounty of this company should be avoided.
I do not understand why waste your time if you are not sure about the payment.

many ways that can be done but it is also not effective ways. find out from the team behind the bounty necessarily be how frequently to do but it's also not a guarantee. liveliness in the telegram also is one sign of whether the bounty can be trusted or not. with an active telegram is certainly at least open up opportunities for real bounty paid.

Scam can be determined from the very beginning or in the process of bounty campaign. Checking the photos of the developers, or wp. But also developers can very well hide that their project is a scam. Then everyone will know it after the end of the ico.

This is one of the most basic questions people are asking day by day after they lost all their investment. They have nothing to lose after they are being cheated by the scammer.
See I feel they are not any particular thing that can exactly tell you that this bounty system is a scam. So now I have some other Technic to find the scam. See you need to spend a lot of time in this market.
You need to survey the market regularly to find this scams. So stay cool and no need to panic about this things and not invest immediately.

there is no way to know to know if the bounty campaign is scam or not, you just have to find some legit information that they will provide to the community, if there is anything suspicious, then avoid that

This is a difficult issue for bounty participants. There is no effective solution to this problem. It involves a variety of issues and factors. There are many reasons as to the conflict between the bounty manager and devs team or the inconsistency and the project organizer, team, member, etc. Take the time to feel and explore the community and find ways to contact the team to confirm the authenticity.

When a team does not use their real identity because they will definitely cheat, there is no way to find out, because even if you have done a lot of research and you find good information, a good ICO might turn into a scam.

Actually it is very difficult to recognize the scams. But before entering into any project , always read its whitepaper and search about its team members. If the project includes team members with detectable identity and are public faces then the project is genuine .
