There is no exact recipe or tool to spot that scam bounty. Just be precautious and do your research about the bounty program. Find out who is the bounty manager, what are they doing, who supports them etc. Gather as much information as you can. After your research, you can make some conclusion on their reliability.

That's a very difficult question. I myself 3 times got on the scam. And every time I was sure that this is a very good project. It is necessary to conduct very much research of all information on the Internet about the project. Now there are very big risks.

I think there're some sighs of a scam bounty:
 - Untrusted Bounty Manager
 - Trash Project: non verified team, bad whitepaper, rush to do ICO without product.
 - The bounty rules is not clearly

Investigate!!!
make a research with the team members, their addresses and the propose project.
Make studies about their projects and history.

all of that is good, after that you dont have anything unless at the end they run away.

It's best to start with technical documentation as a rule, scammers just copy it, then study the team profiles maybe they do not belong to the project.

One can quickly know if a bounty is a scam from the beginning of the campaign. The type of bounty manager in charge. The teams that owns the project and the way they are communicating to the bounty hunters.

but still, even though all have met good criteria, the probability of failure is still large. I feel that the luck factor is also influential in choosing Bounty.
Maybe this looks funny but that's what I think because now there are so many gifts that fail even though they look good.

Yeah, good example was Fiancia bounty campaign, they managed their own bounty campaign and on the end they said that they ask 0.1ETH from bounty hunters to pass "KYC" and after that they left the project.

How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

Study the reviews, watch the news, pay attention to sponsors and partners, and most importantly - carefully familiarize yourself with the project. The devil is in the details. In no case do not pursue excess profits. It is much safer to invest in tokens and crypto-currencies, which are known to most crypto communities, and which can easily be converted to fiat if necessary.

I feel your pain because have been in your shoes too, people keep saying you have to do investigations before invest your time into any bounty, but ehat if they have All the requirements to make it look good and yet its still a scam bounty, i fell victim to one recently, this one even paid but they were paying so low, i got just $2 worth of token and my friend who did almost all their campaign got just $30 for all his troubles, i think we still new a better way to know if a project is scam or not

Honestly I have no idea how to know for a fact if a bounty is scam. But better for you to search and research that is the most important to know if the project is scam or not. You must read the whitepaper, know the developers, the project team members. Check all the information about the bounty you want to join just to aware you of scam...

It is worth paying attention to updates, on the spreadsheet with the stakes, on the news from the campaign and the team's activity. These are important indicators for determining a scam.

I never follow the bounty that the manager has not been too much as a bounty manager, and besides I also never follow bounty which is very big allocation.

look at the teams that run it are important because many are anonymous and have a team that deserves to be given the suspicion are a scam and not. Moreover, if there is no liveliness in the telegram also sometimes be an issue that should be questioned whether it was a scam or not. but these are just some ways and not entirely certain of his righteousness.

Now scam bounty is more day 1, to distinguish it based on many factors such as team, whitepaper, roadmap, ... and the evaluation on the ICO evaluation page.

Many scam ICO that has spread their bounty campaigns. This is the main problem of cryptocurrency where in there are alot of people who could easily establish their coins to scam investors as well as bounty hunters. I think the best way you need to consider if a bounty is scam or not is the person who are involve.

Actually, I guess no one can know if bounty is a scam, but we can try our best by making some research, reading the road map of the project, and so many other ways

One of the thing you need do is to look at the team members.
Secondly look at the telegram if they have a very good communication that can work out something.
You need to look at their updates, spreadsheet to check their stakes.

Until now, I joined the prize program but I am grateful that I haven't found a scam project and I don't want to meet with a scam project. All kinds described in the project must be carefully examined and investigated to avoid fraud. The website, team activities, concepts, road maps and more.

In the current market, there are many fraudulent bounty projects and you need to be careful with them. Our market is not protected by law so we need to protect ourselves.
I think to avoid being scammed you should join some Amazix team or Krapital team to get better projects. Or you can access bounty hive to have good quality bounty projects.

You have been very careful but you are also very lucky to haven't met a scam project. The reality is very complex, the projects we don't think it scam but it deceived the participants. The Ubiatar project is such a case.
