Big/medium banks are never going to use Ripple, theyre only trying it out and will drop it then make their own technology (not de-centralized!)

Blockchain will change how we send money, but not through banks. Theyre completely against de-centralized control of financial system. We need blockchain solutions like Kora (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876521.0) that are person to person and small business to small business

Still many investors are choosing ripple, they still have trust more than those decentralized cryptos. So they prefer to invest in ripple as a result of this. Yet, we cannot say that ripple will die.

Ripple will always be able to survive in the market as long as there are people using it to make payment, I believe some investors might also be investing their money into Ripple with a long term investment plan, and I think they will only sell their Ripple away if there are huge profits to be made.

It might be true that ripple might die soon look at this news: https://cointelegraph.com/news/report-xrp-market-cap-could-be-overestimated-by-billions  looks like ripple is heavily manipulated.

Anything on this planet will die, some day. The planet itself, too... So, what?
While we are alive, you need to look for profitable ways to invest. Ripple is one of those, and he is unlikely to die.

ripple is now being used by not only banks but also exchange platforms from fiat to ripple and vise versa. It is widely used and real time transactions. So I doubt it will die even banks make their own technology.
As long as Riple has such strong financial support, he will not die. This coin will still outlast most coins.

I don't think this project is dying. It seems to me that at the moment this coin is one of the strongest. I like the idea of this project.

Ripple coin is certainly good , but I think it is worth investing in it very rarely , since the schedule is very similar to the pump and the rate falls again , and at the expense of technology I agree it undermines the cryptocurrency

It is interesting to read such posts from one year ago. Did Ripple died till now? No. And I am not a fan of Ripple, but I don't believe it will die. At least not in the nearest future

XRP price continues to stay relatively stable amidst bloodbath in the cryptocurrency market. There have been several developments around Ripple. Distributed ledger technology is expanding all over the world and Ripple is one of the most important companies in the space. Ripple has recently signed up Euro Exim Bank, based out in London, to use Ripple's xRapid service. The CEO of  Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, seems very enthusiastic about future developments in the financial industry as he had predicted the same that most of the financial institutions will be using xRapid for liquidity advantages. Ripple has a financial and banking network that reaches now more than 150 clients all over the world which have also increased the trust of customers in financial institutions that now can process cross-border payments in a faster, more secure and easier way.  The bulls might kick off from early 2019 for XRP as it looks stronger as compared to other cryptos at times of volatility.

Recently, Japan’s MUFG Bank announced the signing of a MoU with Banco Bradesco, a Brazil-based banking service. The MoU discussed a partnership between the two organization to create a cross-border payment corridor which would be powered by the Ripple technology. If Ripple successfully ties up with Apple as the investors are working towards and mostly expected to happen in 2019, the value of Ripple will increase significantly. This means that it becomes easier for the ripple holders to encash their holding as well. This would also certainly increase the credibility of Ripple. At the same point, any such tie-up will ensure that more investors would invest in ripple which is why it will significantly propel the price of Ripple forward. Additionally, such association will bring credibility to the entire cryptocurrency industry. It will prove to be the largest such tie-up.

A few days back, National Bank of Kuwait(NBK) has announced that it has launched a new remittance service, (known as NBK direct remit) by joining Ripple's blockchain-based payment network, which can enable instant cross-border payments. It is starting with a remittance window to Jordon, plans to be eventually followed by China, London, Paris, Egypt, UAE, Bahrain, and other countries.

Ripple is consistently adding new clients including some marquee names in the banking world like American Express, Standard Chartered, Axis Bank, Santander and MUFG which helps in tackling the problem of liquidity issues.

@James Corden  ^^
As you are new,  Ripple =/= XRP

No wounder Brad Garlinghouse, is enthusiastic if James Corden sends him some money in exchange for worthless xrp to finance his multi-million dollar lifestyle.

"The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling."  Satoshi Nakamoto, April 2009          Avoiding taxes is totally legal if you consider and respect the law.

XRP project of the banking sector, I think that they will make every effort to try to do something very valuable or vice versa, which is more likely to kill the project, because the world is definitely trying to survive and kill cryptocurrency.

Those people said that ripple will die because they don't have ripple in their wallet and they did not see the potential of this coin. Maybe they are envy who are have ripple so they are going to spread negative news to affect the people to sell their ripple.

Ripple never die as this is the most trusted and trading coin for this market after Bitcoin and Ethereum. Many global banks using these technologies and it is growing and it also holds its top 10 position due to investor trust on it.

Ripple never die as this is the most trusted and trading coin .................
Ripple is not a coin, it is a company selling worthless xrp to noobs at massive inflated price. Anyone educated knows it cant be trusted and has a lot of wash trades.

Many global banks using these technologies ....

Any evidence or you just like to par-take in scams. Ripple has some working relations with Banks and thats it, neither use xrp (in rare circumstances ripple does)

..... it also holds its top 10 position due to investor trust on it.
It moved up in ranking on crap sites like CMC with successive manipulation, monkey businesses, lies, decides, shenanigans, taking advantage of not so gifted members of the community .......

I don't think so. Ripple just like bitcoin and ethereum has already proven itself in the market. Its been on the rise and been down at some point but it still in the market. Although its possible that banks are only interested on the technology behind ripple but not in ripple itself. They might stole it and make their own crypto with the same functionality as ripple.

If it's true ripple there's no way people make transactions or buy it. This can still be used even though everything has decreased which worsened earlier this year.

Will Ripple die? If Ethereum can die, this will happen to Ripple. Everything cannot be judged based on subjective factors when events take place around us. Find out more about the information you see and don't become desperate about that information because the bear market is happening.

I think the foundation of xrp is very good. Very suitable to expand use for banks. Therefore, xrp is electronic money that I think will be very stable and hard to die
